Did anyone expect any other outcome - - Nah! didn't think so, rattle the cage and this is result.

Shame on Thailand and shame on those gut-less people who bend over and let it happen time after time.

Government is lucky that Thai people are generally ambivalent or gutless to stand up against such conduct.

  • There are two big joke stories today but this is the biggest.  The third big joke is the Thai court system.

What amazes me is how a few un- elected judges can topple  a growing democracy and yet the people and the MFP  are just going to accept this, amazing!!!!! Fight !!  The MFP should be saying WE do not Accept this  they have 14 million Thais backing them

Thailand does not meet the conditions for democracy. Thailand is an autocratic monarchy. The first pillar, namely freedom of expression, has been restricted by laws. There is no separation of powers. (trias politica) With all the consequences such as corruption, inequality and so on.

Thailand is a constitutional  monarchy, not autocratic monarchy do you know the difference ????

Constitutional monarchy, also known as limited monarchy, parliamentary monarchy or democratic monarchy, is a form of monarchy in which the monarch exercises their authority in accordance with a constitution and is not alone in making decisions.

Autocracy Monarchy  is a system of government in which absolute power is held by the ruler in other words a Dictator and Thailand is not

Another name change will be in the pipeline after MFP was dissolved and its leaders got 10 year bans.

I hope they have learned: "to beat the system you must play by its own rules".

In the UK there was an election last month. The main opposition party "Labour" (socialists) had said very little about what they would do when elected. They got in with 32% of the vote, but over 120 seat majority. That isn't very democratic in what is supposed to be the Mother of Parliaments. Now there are riots on the streets as migration is not to be cut but increased and illegal entry into the country is not to be a hindrance to gaining "leave to stay" and eventually a citizenship.

Monarchy degenerates into tyranny, aristocracy into oligarchy, and democracy into anarchy.

THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM:
The ruling Politicians did what they needed to do to hang on to their very lucrative Government positions long-term. This is all about power which produces prodigious amounts of personal wealth.

How can they possibly ask to respect the Thai judicial process when Thailand is now a laughing stock on the world democracy stage?
