The blatant, outright in-yo-face lies and corruption of this place is impressive. Treats it's citizens as fools, which is mostly true...but treating the rest of the world as such is a bad strategy. Thailand will never be a world player and will remain a 3rd World Banana Republic until this BS changes.

It's not really that important now. I feel the current government, with Thaksin working behind the scenes, is actually doing well and has surprised me quite a bit.

     Terrible, terrible decision.  Banning Thailand's best and brightest from participating in government is the absolute worst part of the ruling.  So sad for Thailand.

That was the plan, the Elites want the dumbest obedient servants they can get, "best and brightest" is the last thing they want. One look at the educational system here supports the hypothesis.

And NOTHING has yet come to fruition, the country is broke ! all that will be achieved is more Debt.

Our race seems to be at catastrophic crossroads.
