maybe you should put a tampon in your eyeball while on a flight to vietnam. or maybe it was iraq.

As already posted it was indeed Iraq. Regarding your recommendation re tampon use, and although my philosophy during a long life has always been to be prepared to try anything at least once, I think I'll give that a miss.

Back in the early 70’s many of my GF’s hung out with gay men . We all use to party together  in Gay & straight  establishments ,enjoying Barry White  and other popular music!

We went to Providence Town , Cape Cod sometimes on the weekends and use to take in a Drag show for laughs at the Anchor Club and other straight & gay establishments.

Now those comedy shows and thats what they were than are in Parades with guys shirking their junk at kids  & at the White House lawn, (topless trans people )and pushing gender affirming ideology on America !

I don’t  care  if people get abortions but dont make others pay for it thats radical.

Expand

I will give you a hypothetical example to think about.

Your wife was raped by a number of men about 3 months ago who have never been traced or caught. She is in the hospital and you get a call from the doctor explaining that your wife is pregnant and unless she has an abortion she will die. By the state law he is not permitted to abort the unborn child.

You live in a state where the male governor has decreed that an abortion will not be permitted under ANY circumstances at all.

However you live close to the next state which does allow abortions though you may have to pay to save your wife's live. You don't have enough cash to pay for it and the insurance company will not pay for it either.

So what will you do?

Take your wife to the next state where she can have an abortion, and if necessary beg or borrow the money?

Or let her die because some men in the state where you both live have passed a law stating that is is forbidden, despite the fact that she will die if she does not have an abortion?

Remember that this is a hypothetical case, but it can be real for some people.

i don't think you are going to find a lot of people who disagree with that. most people are in support of abortion for the big 3 reasons. rape incest and risk of death.

those 3 instances are not the majority of abortions though. numbers of which i believe are in the low teens percentage wise. so for whatever other reasons (woman's choice) the majority of abortions are not about that.

lets put another hypothetical out there shall we.

i am firm supporter of my body my choice. however i also believe it should work both ways. if a woman tells me she is pregnant and i am the father.... i will simply say your body your choice. i do not wish to have a baby.

is that fair ? i should then be free of any obligation if that child is born. after all her body her choice right.

Hmm. Amazing how "transgender children and adolescents" survived this situation in previous years past, before this garbage was thrown in everyone's face. There must be an ulterior motive.

Many didn't and lived lives of hell.....but what would you care?

Yep. Some people are fd up and others arent. The problem when they try to make fd normal. Right out of the Leninist playbook:

Attack the morality of the bourgeoise, replace with socialist morality.

Try telling that to Musk.

I feel bad that he has a disturbed child. Mental illness is only news if someone who opposes the Leninist agenda is involved, other than that, its celebrated.

i recognize the importance of those 3... but i am not fond of it being used politically when it does not represent nearly the portion of abortion that it is made out to be. :)

to quote the great bill clinton...abortion should be safe legal and rare.

You and your wife are expecting your first child any day in NY. She is already a bit loopy due to hormones and when you sees you studying a forum about Thailand she goes bats**t crazy, says shes leaving you and walks out the door.

You find out shes heading over to Planned Parenthood. You try to stop her, but the FBI grabs you and arrests you for interfering with an abortion. You get indicted, while your baby has been cut up inside the womb after its brain was sucked out its skull. Her/his little parts are sold by PP to help them fund more murders.

This could be real for some people.

Spoken just like a man.

It may well be different if you were a female and it was your body, that men are doing their best to control.

This from the same person who bashes the Thais for their lack of "PREVENTATIVE" maintenance... what ever happened to controlling the risk by not spreading your legs at certain times ( Rhythm Method) or birth control prior to conception?  Still available BUT you have to pay for it instead of the taxpayers... but thousands of ignorant women get pregnant then want the taxpayer to condone and pay for murdering the unborn... men don't give a crap about what you do to your body... but you pay for it and reap what you sow.

A long time ago my first wife and I agreed she should abort her third pregnancy, for a number of reasons, but mainly about concerns for her physical and mental health. That decision has, however, troubled us both ever since.

Not that this will ever happen in a million years, but I urge every poster that is opposed to trans rights and gender affirming medical care to read a fine novel called Mad Honey, which beautifully deals with these issues.  Issues, I might add, that do not always neatly slot into 'one size fits all' solutions.

Lost in all the back and forth shouting and bickering is the fact that there is always an individual involved, with his or her own unique story.  Should you choose to read the novel, you'll meet Lily, a trans teen, and will discover her story.  The novel certainly opened my eyes and I gained a new perspective on the issues.

This post needs clarifying where does Planned Parenthood sell baby body parts?

E/bay, Amazon, Lazada or Shopee?

It's unclear how many transgender children could benefit from free menstrual supplies, the impact is mostly felt by the millions of girls who experience so-called "period poverty" or the inability to afford pads and tampons. About one in four teenagers who menstruate struggle to pay for period products,

I think people struggle to pay for more than "period products" so why stop there? Let's make everything free. After all we all need food and a place to live, but many struggle to afford either. I'd welcome other people paying my rent and food bill.

IMO if we look at the people that "struggle to pay for period products" we will find that they can afford booze and smokes ( I'm assuming that teenagers are not expected to pay for such themselves- that's what parents are for ) and other such like unimportant things. Perhaps they should economise on luxuries to afford essentials.

Obviously I know nothing about your personal circumstances, but did the "physical and mental health" concerns only appear after you both decided for her to get pregnant?
