Walz comes across as down-to-earth, with some pretty good sledges. Telling Vance to mind his own business on abortion resonated with almost every woman not tied up in religious dogma.

 

OTOH, Vance talking about childless cat ladies was about as gauche as a teenager removing  clothes for the first sexual encounter. Just embarrassing.

 

IMO Haley would have been a much better choice, but she was probably excluded by Trump's vindictiveness.
