I extended my retirement visa on Wednesday at airport imm. My bank supplied me with the Normal letter and a 'certificate' which looked remarkably like the letter, all for a bargain basement price of 300B. Being the first to arrive at imm I received ticket 001. By the time the previous days backlog was cleared I received a ticket in the 40s. I finally left at 11.30. -

Are you on any medication for blood pressure? I was prescribed a couple, one of them, amlodipine, caused the same problem with me. I have enlarged prostate, had radiation for prostate cancer nine years ago. As soon as I stopped taking amlodipine the problem stopped. Tried it again months later, same problem so stopped again. Only take doxasozine now which keeps my blood pressure at the right level. -

This can backfire easily also. If this is publicised, then the number of arrivals waiting to receive payback to return might increase very quickly. Sweden does have plenty of sea, though. They could simply rent some cruise ships that went out of operation during pandemic, accept first strike law that migrants get jailed and deported on first offense, catch them, dump them on the ships docked miles from shore, and when full, take them back to where they came from. Sweden, like most other nations, needs migrants to fill job positions that are needed but unattractive to locals. There however needs to be a drive for quality migrants as well. In the past only legal arrivals were allowed to stay. Now, illegals are being not just tolerated but encouraged, financing criminal gangs all over the globe. That's just wrong. -

Yes, that was my impression after watching the video. I already elaborated as to how and why I came to that conclusion. You do understand that people can have a different perspective? That is what happens on a forum, people put their views forward and we have an opportunity to discuss. Instead, a few people get 'triggered' by another perspective and turn to abuse instead of a reasoned discussion. I have my perspective on that kind of behaviour too. So I stand by my comments and am happy to discuss them with anyone who does not understand or agree with my point of view. Isn't that how it is supposed to work with men? Reasoned debate. -

Again, I was addressing the ev market in general. NOT ONLY THAILAND AND YOUR CAR. Also for every one who is happy as you are reports their experience, there are also many across ALL GLOBAL MARKETS who have had direct experience and are not pleased. If their experiences are not taken as likely factual then yours cannot be taken differently. Surely somebody somewhere has their own 'facts' that contradict yours. Which should I believe assuming I will not buy an ev and gain my own facts? If my experience does not agree with yours should I not consider it factual? That leaves me in the embarrassing situation of determining my buying decisions based solely on the reportedly positive evaluations of complete strangers. Is that why you bought your ev? Should I regard negative reviews on any product as false and positive as true? That seems derelict consumerism to me. All I can say is if the rest of the world has a different experience and EV sales are dropping then that must mean something. Alternatively you are right and everybody with a different experience is wrong. I'll go with that one. Thanks for your insights. I'm on my way to buy one each of every ev model in Thailand and gain my own direct experience. That would be a useful and fun exercise. That means I could drive a different ev every day of the month and I promise not to judge which ones I like the best. All ev are considered equal and my opinion would be worthless and could possibly persuade others not to buy, fools that they are. I'll get back to you with the results. Just hold your breath. In th e meantime please do continue your crusade of righteousness; the world will thank you for indisputable facts. Such are very hard to come by these days. -

Agreed... "For what?" Maybe it was a feeble attempt to sound relevant and justify their existence here in Chiang Mai. After squatting in Dara Rasami's - once lovely - residence since before WWII they're about to move into a fortress-like consulate that must have cost the American taxpayers billions of dollars, not to mention creating a new eyesore in CM. -

Any advantages to retirement over marriage visa?
I'm focusing on the OP. He is from UK. No income letter available. His income is from rents. At this point in time he does not even have a Thai bank account. The only way he can use income method for his first extension is to show 12 months transfers of 40k/65k
