Did we watch the same scripted interview. She just lied and why was her sidekick there . Just to cut the time down on her babbling answers. 28  minute interview padded out to 1 hour by the Camala News Network

What were the lies?

Guess you didn't read the details. It is nothing like what Trump promised.

The bill, which Murphy described as a "compromise" also included provisions with more money for asylum lawyers and judges for the overloaded immigration system.

Harris' campaign says the border deal is a whole lot more than continuation of wall funding — and a tiny fraction of what Trump has proposed.

Harris advisers note that the bipartisan border proposal didn't include any new money to continue building the wall.

It just extended the timeline to spend funds that had been appropriated during Trump's last year as president, they say, although the legislation has new restrictions to ensure the money is spent on barriers.

Life's been great the past 4 years. Especially not having to read about all the bs Trump pulls.

Excellent. What part of the US are you living in then? We'll all want to join you. Oh, do they have a draft yet? Well if not there will be one soon thanks to the war mongers running that country.

If these are "bombshells", if this is Kamala at her best, then Trump has nothing to worry about. A very gentle Dana Bash gave her trouble over the course of a grand total of about 20 minutes' time.  She will wilt in a debate.

Dana used Magat talking points lol , Nov 5 you will weep in Canada

Dana is usually a better interviewer than this. She was very good during the Trump/Biden debate- professional, prepared, and factual.

The first thing CNN should have done is say "no, this will not be a pair interview. We want to interview Harris only". Also, Bash gave her guests far too many 'off ramps' to her questions. They were long and wordy and ate up far too much time.  Pointed and succinct would have been far better. Even so, Kamala managed to flub the softballs and look confused.

Sorry if nuance and mature conversation eludes you. Can I suggest a bit of a lie down and some colouring books?

Crap economy? Except for inflation hard to ask for more. Clear reasons for inflation outside their control too.

KhunLA is right, you do realise that Russia's GDP growth exceeded that of the United States in 2023, and will again in 2024?

When did that happen the last time that Russia's GDP growth outpaced that of America?

Good job, Joe and Kamala.

This is due to heavy spending on the war effort.   Once this spending stops Russia will enter a recession.

It's not actually. Russia is spending 5.9% of GDP on its military. Saudi Arabia is spending 7.1 % of GDP and Algeria 8.2.   And nobody in their right mind would say that  Saudi Arabia and Algeria are "war economies".

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_with_highest_military_expenditures

Fact is Russia is not an economy where the vast majority of its production is geared to war production, far from it.

The reason Russia's economy is doing so well is that it underwent years of austerity when  Russia accumulated gigantic cash reserves, which it now is able to spend to help the economy.

Dana Bash also interviewed JD Vance a couple of weeks ago.  A solo interview,  no need for anyone to hold his hand.  The contrast in style and demeanor in Bash are remarkable.
