My ½ serious suggestion is to publish on a member's profile the count of how many other users have added them to their list of ignored users.  The data would not identify which users have ignored any user.  Each user could make the count visible to other users or not.

I can give a hoot about who’s ignored or not, though it is a measure of intolerance, and can even care less about the cosmetics of individuals on an anonymous forum. Too many folks in this neighborhood have a problem with taking things too personally, it’s just a bunch of bits and bytes cobbled together and glowing in the faces of the site seers.

I rather not put AN members on my ignore list, I prefer to read these members nasty, rude, hostile antagonizing comments by some here so I can report them.

 

At times it's like being back in primary school, some members here have never grown up, they get so frustrated by the truth, these children can't accept anyone having a different opinion to that of theirs, I'm often getting called names, receiving nasty, rude comments, it makes me laugh, bloody delinquents. 

 

Tough guys sitting behind their keyboards, trolling, carrying on like children.

 

It must be miserable moderating here, I remember years ago you'd get banned if you continue to call other members offensive names but these nasty people remain here.
