In LOS one can appeal a Not Guilty verdict adjudicated by a Judge?

Normally it would be the prosecution who does any appeal I believe.

It has nothing to do with the victim, they are not involved except being a witness.

What?

The judge made his judgement and it stands. The prosecution could appeal.

The complainant can't do anything as they are not directly involved in a prosecution.

I share the same feelings of sadness and disappointment," she stated. Dr. Pai emphasised her commitment to the truth, clarifying that she has not accepted any money or bribes and is prepared to take her case to higher courts

She may not have, but others are more easily bought off...

I'm sure Swiss has been making some donations to certain entities.

What exactly does it prove? That the Thai justice system is a lottery? In Scotland this would have been a " not proven " verdict not a not guilty verdict.

Swiss Dave has made a name for himself in other incidents now he is in the spotlight he will need to curb his bullying habits

Perhaps , given the support of "Netizens", she was advised that she would win. Then she would maybe claim damages for the "trauma" she claimed to have suffered !

Letting it go now would not only cause loss of face and any potential financial gain.

Ironically. you'd think that pursuing it would only cause more stress and related "trauma".

Hopefully, this episode will still end badly though for Mr Swissie, if his alleged other misdemeanors are now validated !

but he is also a foreigner !       Do you not think that the "Dr" or her father have access to money and high powered friends?

There was no evidence of any assault on that video,  He was rightly aquitted, end of story.

Yes, of course the prosecution can appeal, just the same as in most countries...if there is evidence that has not already been presented to the court.

No, an appeal does not mean that the judge was wrong, it means that the prosecution doesn't like the outcome.
