You know what' so funny? This high school dweeb living at home with his parents, who looked like a  bag boy position would be his highest career option, he actually managed to get a shot off and hit Trump.

Whereas this wannabe Ukraine warrior had 12 hours and still only managed to run away and never got a shot off.

How embarassing is that for Routh? Lol.

So all the hate and nonsense from Biden and Harris calling for a target to be put on him and saying he's Hitler and a threat to democracy has had no effect on the brainwashed sheep who follow them?

only need to look in these threads to see how easily they're programmed and brainwashed. From  vheamently denying Bidens cognitive decline, then dropping him in the blink of an eye- ardently supporting a candidate that nobody voted for- gushing over a pop singer the many never heard of until last week.

Has trump toned down his rhetoric....No. Also don't forget he has never apologised for calling immigrants vermin who are poisoning the blood of America, media are the enemies of the people etc etc etc Long past due for trump to put up or shut up, but we know it ain't going to happen.

referring to illegal immigrant criminals yes, not all immigrants.

A republican shot at him and the latest shooter voted Trump in 2016. He brought it upon himself as a hated man with his incendiary heated rhetoric. Sensible educated voters just see him as typical senile Trump with a vile & foul mouth. But he will attract those nutters who just hate his persona.

not much is known about the 1st guy as social media was wiped and the whole thing seems to have been buried, but he also donated to a dem fund,  this old guy was a registered Dem, luckily people were able to screen shot his social media accounts before they were removed, so more will come out over the coming days.

Bizarrely, both appeared in Blackrock adverts though (if one was to get their tin hat out)

Cause and effect Sir. If Trump didn't spewed all those vile and incendiary rhetoric, there will be no reciprocrating stuff directed at him personally. If he didn't frame his speeches along the lines of Mein Kampf, no want will reference him to Hilter or Nazi. Even JD Vance called him Hilter. Seem he and others in his party recognized the similarities in his vermin and stating that the free press is the enemy of the people with Hilter.

The problem is Trump think that he can do and say anything without consequences. Words have consequences which is reason people perception that he will tear up the constitution and be an authoritarian ruler. Nothing in Biden or Harris speeches or statements even remotely suggest that they will rip up the constitution or rule with an iron fist.

Consequences? Sure. Tell everyone he is wrong and stupid and has bad breath, whatever.  But the amplification in the media and among his political opponents is beyond the pale. When you label your political opponent an existential threat to democracy and the American way of life? Words have consequences.

But you never answered my last question. Do you honestly think Trump will set himself up as dictator if he wins?

He has his choice of a hundred golf courses.  The wingnut in me says they should look at CCTV and cell phone pings from the other 99 courses to see if anyone else was camped out all day waiting.

That's why I'm happy to hear Florida is doing their own investigation.  Because the FBI and USSS don't want the public to know.  At least not before Nov 6.

Errr don't suppose the fact that Trump Owns that Golf course had anything to do with his decision on a round of Golf on his own course ?

All golfers look for some variety.  Playing the same course all the time is like banging the same hooker, day in and day out.

My 2 brothers are golf course superintendents.  They get comped on any course within 30 miles. And they're nobodies.  Trump can play for free all over Florida.  And it's not like he couldn't afford to pay if he had to.

Bottom line, unless he had some leaked info on Trump's plans that day, there was a miniscule chance that he was in the right place.  Leading me to wonder if there were others, camped out waiting for Trump in other places.

Independent actually

Contrary To Online Claims, Trump Suspect Is Registered Independent Voter

Social media users are variously claiming the man accused of planning to assassinate Donald Trump in Florida is registered as a Republican or a Democratic voter, but public records indicate he is currently neither.

They are not piss poor shots, they fired in the direction of the barrel to spook him not to hit him, and he ran away as expected and could then be apprehended. Perfect tactics.

Trump is a threat to democracy and rightfully called out by the Dems. You may deny all that but the facts present itself.

Trump is an autocratic populist that break norms and laws. He exploited every institutional weakness he could find  and have promised retribution to his enemies  if he win. He deepened the divisions of an already polarised society and tries to overturn the result of a free and fair election that he lost.

His words that he will be a dictator on day one. I don’t have to tried hard to think what he had hinted to be a dictator.

So do you believe that he will be "a dictator on day one"?  How does that happen exactly?

Step One: Trump wins the election
Step Two: Inauguration

Step Three: Dictator?

There has to be a little happening between steps 2 and 3. Surely you must have an idea of what would happen.

No he wasn't, he had no line of shot with Trump, the agent went ahead to the next hole and caught him long before Trump arrived.

You're not well informed.

It is already happening if you open your eyes. The erosion of freedom to choose by the SC to election gerrymandering of election laws in red states. That’s how Mussolini became the dictator. Not overnight but over time as his allies worked with the confines of the constitution to accrue power, eroding democratic institutions until the moment he insert as the supreme power.

You sound rather paranoid. What freedom did the Supreme Court erode?  As for gerrymandering, it is a plague at every level and done by both parties.  To you, the path to dictatorship is happening even now, with Joe Biden in the White House? Interesting...

the US is polarised due to the lying, race baiting left activist mainstream media, and all its pundits. like Don Lemon, the cuomos, maddow, jou reid, morning Joe, cnn and all the others.

'His words that he will be a dictator on day one. I don’t have to try hard to think what he had hinted. Words have consequences'.

seems you dont think at all, he said a dictator on day one as a tongue in cheek comment about oil drilling, its all here in the main fact checking site snopes.  even if you read it i know you will never change your mind, the acronym you suffer from is too deeply rooted!!
