Popular Post snoop1130 Posted September 25, 2024 Popular Post Posted September 25, 2024 In a bold move to clean up the streets of Patong, police and health officials are back in action, targeting Bangla Road’s nightlife hotspots with surprise drug tests. The high-stakes operation saw staff at multiple entertainment venues undergo random tests, aiming to ensure drug-free working environments in the heart of Phuket’s party scene. Patong Police, led by Chief Police Colonel Chalermchai Hirasawat, alongside his deputies Pol. Lt. Col. Narubadin Panglisen, Pol. Lt. Col. Somporn Surin, and Pol. Lt. Col. Suchart Chumphusang spearheaded the campaign. “We’re committed to making sure Bangla Road remains safe for everyone.” Kathu district officials, including Jiravat Namart and Sikarin Aninbon, joined the effort, bolstered by volunteers from the local Volunteer Defence Corps. Public health was also on the agenda, with Namchai Prateep leading the district’s health officials in the raids. This crackdown, part of the third phase of a wider crime prevention campaign by Region 8 Police, falls under the banner “Protect the people, suppress dangers, be modern, and care for the people.” Their focus is to ensure that popular entertainment venues are drug-free through random urine tests as part of the White Entertainment Venue Project. A total of 141 employees were tested—73 men and 68 women—but Patong Police remain tight-lipped about whether any tests came back positive, reported Phuket News. Popular Post Sigmund Posted September 25, 2024 Popular Post Posted September 25, 2024 Somebody in a decorated uniform, did not get the brown enveloppe in time ? If they want to clean up the streets maybe they should first call their boys up north in Bangkok and check out Sukhumvit around Nana with all the African drug dealers who are openly selling their substance to the local or falang junkies, scattered all around. 5 1
Maitdjai Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 "Tight-lipped". Too many, or too few winners in the urine contest? Both ways are not boosting tourism. The hub of self-shot feet. 1

Sh#t attracts flies.... clean up Nana as a whole, not just the drug pushers.

The hub of self-shot feet. Probably remaining tight lipped so no one can guesstimate the number of brown envelopes received.

Well if it's too clean, there will be no more tourists ! But I agree, one could also clean up those Tailor shops that are cheating customers with crappy material, bad stiching and overcharging. Tailoring before COVID was top notch and top stich in Bangkok. Now it's just a scam with poor quality material, bad tailoring and you pay same or more then Europe to get someting decent. No point in tailoring clothes any more in Bangkok for sure. 1
