Happily married to a Thai lady for 40 years. The glue is being close friends, and some mutual interests.

I have married only once in May 1975 and that is to my Thai wife. Our 50th anniversary is next year. We have two successful children, married with kids. We courted for two years before I proposed so have really been together more than fifty years. Fact is we both felt 'right' at our first meeting. To use the old cliche, we are made for each other. Two distinct personalities each supporting the faults of the other. Companionship in retirement and old age. Until death do us part.

Been married over 40 years now.  Having common interests helps a lot.  Find someone that enjoys doing the same things you enjoy.
