So why is the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Division (ATPD), led by Major General Saruti Khwaengsopha bothering with sex toys? It is likely because they utterly refuse to go after human traffickers and sex traffickers, and would rather focus on something that does absolutely nothing to make society safer on any level, but is a far easier task.

Anti-trafficking was probably more related to this and rightly so in my opinion

The male ones are, for <deleted>heads.

I believe deleted heads can also be found but one needs to go to a LB bar or be duped.

Sadly you seem to have missed the very obvious sarcasm in @Wongkitlo's post. Here read this again.

You see the fact is there are "girls and guys selling themselves in every soi and along the beach"

Maybe a smiley or laughing emoji at the end of the post would have pointed you in the right direction of thought.

I don't understand what you mean. I was totally serious.

Kids are having kids here and they are worried about sex toy’s, seriously!!

The entire country is filled with overstayers and foreigners illegally working yet they opted to focus on the dangerous sex toy industry..gotta love their priorities.

I bet all their wives now have some new toys though.

"It is a face massager on our popular selling website"

Ya, had a Soi 6 girl use one to stimulate her cheeks.  I asked her how it felt but all she could do was mumble as her mouth was full.  It was a very stimulating and satisfying conversation.

I think this article is over rated - there are vendors of such things, there are websites etc... It was a regular bust, nothing special. And obviously not news-worthy.

These guys were really cunning in their business practises.  They got away with it by hiding in plain site lol and maybe by distributing brown envelopes Im sure.  Now the trick here, and please take careful note, is to do a Google search for "sex toys Thailand" and you will get about 6 results even today!  They advertise they are in Thailand, no waiting for overseas shipping.  Buy online, transfer to Thai bank and they deliver in 2 days.  How was that so hard for the police to catch them?  Ive bought from them twice in 12 months quite openly on the web.  Somebody has missed payments or someone is making a noise.

A lots of jokey posts on this thread.

But on a more serious point. Was the paperwork in order. Thailand is such a stickler for proper paperwork.

That is unfair. They are doing their best to stop vaping, drinking between midday and 5pm, and they patrol Pattaya regularly to ensure there is no prostitution.

A friend told me that in the family friendly resort of Pattaya that most of the ladies who come to his condo to administer daily care bring their own bag of assorted playthings for amusement purposes. I hope this raid does not  negatively impact the daily nursing services available for expats !

Bridge playing pensioners using too many cards, overstayers, a Poker school,  and now this ring distributing sex toys.

The BIB are really busting all records with their fight against major criminals, aren't they?

Thai police uncovered a massive illegal sex toy smuggling operation worth millions of baht. On October 10, the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Division (ATPD), led by Major General Saruti Khwaengsopha, arrested nine people in connection with the illegal trade. These arrests took place in locations across Bangkok, Nakhon Pathom, and Chonburi.

The individuals arrested included both Thai nationals and Laotian citizens. Their names are Suchada Saelu, Anon Saekhong, Dokkeo Douang Oudom, Mongkol Witoon Inthapat, Niksanh Douangoudom, Chaiwat Chalermsin, Sukho Amornvutthipong, Ekkarat Saewan, and Wutthiphong Plukjai. During the raids, authorities seized more than 2,500 sex toys and 66 electronic devices used in the operation.

The investigation began with suspicions that the group was distributing illegal adult content involving minors through platforms like Telegram and private websites. However, it soon revealed a larger network selling unauthorized sex toys and stimulants to an online community of over 90,000 people.

This illegal trade reportedly made a significant monthly income, estimated between 100,000 and 200,000 THB (about $2,800 to $5,600), with millions in total transactions, reported Daily News.

The arrested suspects confessed to running private Telegram groups and websites for two years, promoting and selling these illegal items. They are facing charges for producing and distributing pornography, operating without proper work permits, and managing illegal websites. Police are continuing their investigation and moving forward with prosecutions.

But yet they are sold on the sidewalk right in front of police.  It would be interesting to see how they would do in court after video of cops walking bystalls in nana or beach road

Thai women are world famous for their promiscuity.

No they are not. The western media might portray it that way.because of the red light districts.

In fact as a country the Thais are the opposite to promiscuous.

You’ll learn this if  you ever get to know the real Thailand and not just the sexpat tourist Thailand.
