Smoking- gun email reveals how Hunter introduced Ukrainian businessman to VP dad
The Hur report had plenty, and the recommendation not to prosecute isn't binding on the next administration's DOJ. Add in the dirt that the House committee has uncovered (but can't possibly defeat a Dem wall against impeachment), and Biden's lawyers may have their work cut out for them. For years... -

Car recommendations
You just pay off what is outstanding. Sometimes there may be a lock-in period of say 12 months, during which you'll have to pay a penalty. ITs a good question as they used to lock you in for the full duration - i.e. if you wanted to pay off early, you'd still have to pay the same amount. There was a recent law / regulation change regarding this - I'm not quite sure what it is... BUT, from what I recall, its something like the above. If after taking out 48 month finance on car a) You want to pay it off early (before 12 months) - You pay xx % on the first 12 months, and the outstanding amount without interest. b) You want to pay it off early (after the first 12 months) - You pay the remainder at a reduced rate for the next xx months, then outstanding amount without interest (or it could be a smaller rate) Thats a pretty poor explanation - however, my point is that the finance 'situation' with regards to paying off early has improved - before you were locked in at the agreed interest. Now, there are laws to protect you from paying the full amount, .. but there is still some form of 'early pay off penalty' depending on the agreement signed. -

Coming to Thailand
Agree - except this one - if one stayed for long periods, prior. If, for example, one was here throughout Covid on covid-extensions, they seem to really hate that. Why? There were few jobs available then - no "illegal tour guide" opportunities and such - so it's not that they think they were "working illegally." But, for a year+ the IOs had to live on their salary-income only - no doubt resulting in the loss of fancy cars, angry mia nois, etc. Hence, great resentment that those farangs "Got Away with living in Thailand ALL that time!" -

Pink I.D Card & Yellow Book
One note to add to the SS continuance. If you want to pay by direct-debit the account must be in your Thai name (at least according to our local SS office). This was rather less easy than expected, both BKK Bank and SCB said "cannot" (translate as "too hard, go away"), but I finally got an account sorted at Krungthai who actually seemed to know what was needed. -
