I recently got an email from True stating that my truemail email account will end on 1st December 2024. I actually wondered if it was some kind of scam at first so I made sure that I didn’t click on any links in the email. I just wondered if anyone else had received such an email. I tried to send an email to truecorp but they don’t have customer service by email anymore and it takes too long to get connected to an English speaking agent through the app so I thought I would check and see if anyone else had received such an email.IMG_9292.jpeg.456a02902df95ae016fdba72b540d534.jpegIMG_9293.jpeg.b6df41ea0cdb2cb24fa32428e034272e.jpeg

Well kind of not surprising  if its "True"  ( probably not)

I'd try phoning them on some other number  than the one in the email.

In any case its a good idea to have other email accounts  just in case

Yahoo Gmail..Hotmail ? still exists not sure.

I have Gmail account anyway so it’s not a big deal. True has been very good to me since I started using them in 2007 for internet services so I don’t have any complaints about them so I will just wait and see.

For such a large company I really don't support a (money saving ?) move

to reduce services for paying customers

  "viva la email"

They haven’t increased their prices for years and upgraded me from 80MB ADSL to 500MB fibre for no cost so I am well pleased with the value for money aspects anyway.

The excuses are quite pathetic really  any ISP should be running its own servers not dependent on "equipment manufactures"  especially for such an

"essential"  service as email.

"There are now more communication channels available to use"

yes  but you (they) should support all channels not just the latest ones !

"Tik Tok"    "faceache"   "line"  🤮

KSC, Thailand's first commercial ISP is still around, but got out of the personal email business a long time ago and I think they only provide corporate services now. I had a KSC email account for a number of years back in the 1990s. I guess only the likes of Google and Microsoft will be left as free email providers at some point.
