Of course there is more to it but they like some ATMs more than others, maybe he lied to her, BSd her, pretended he was loaded, led her on, who knows.

 

If he had said from the off he had very little money i doubt it would have gone any further, try it with your dates, say you don't have much, low income, etc

I totally agree,  he lived and worked in Sweden so he had good money, he flew to Japan during their rel, alone, so it's safe to say he had cash. Yet she says he never gave her any (so accusingly lol) and she never asked for any. But I'm sure he flaunted what he had financially, would pay her taxi etc.

 

Sadly money is the sine qua non, the condition on which it all rests. But it's not all, on top of that comes personality and looks and many other things. Like us men, women are demanding. We also don't just want someone good looking, she should have personality, be smart, useful and helpful etc.

 

They should teach relationships in school really, this stuff is so complicated it beggars belief. And when you get the rel, maintaining it is even harder. It's a nightmare really, if it weren't for the benefits.

So Shen came to dinner. She put on her mother on the phone to talk to me in my language. Nice conversation, mother is lovely.

 

Shen is leaving to Bangkok today but will return on 21st Nov. She asked me to pick her up thenand said she will move in with me for 2 months.

 

Yet when I try to kiss Shen, she gives me the "just hug", turns her head away and says "wait one week".

 

What the hell is this???

 

How can she put on her mother, say she'll move in with me and then turn away and say I should wait a week??

 

She was talking openly about how the Chinese guy wanted to have sex without condoms but she would not let him. Clearly she has no hang ups about sex.

And Shen texted she changed her mind. She's not coming to stay with me, not to pick her up on 21st  Nov.

 

Obviously she has another guy. I was just plan B.

And btw, she had a money problem, owed 23000 to a friend. I offered to give the money. She did not want it in the end. So again, money totally irrelevant.

Checking the date site maybe 30 minutes. The secret is consistency. 

 

Of course then texting the girls is probably a good couple of hours in total. Even if I have 4 promising girls I would still ensure to text new girls as regular as possible. Just to maximise chances and to counteract time wasters that fall away, like Shen. That was a good lesson. 

 

Even if I were in a very firm relationship I would do this routine just to ensure there are always girls that can fill the spot as it were. Miki showed how even if there's no sign of trouble they can force you to throw them out in the blink of an eye. If you had no one lined up, the wait would be far longer. 

 

And Snoopy taught me that the best way to get over a break up is to have great sex with a new girl. 

However, it's not all dating site. I don't know what the universe is doing with me currently but I'm stunned. 

 

I was in a plane to Malaysia today and this very tall and slim 22 year old girl sits next to me. She was Indonesian. I introduced myself and we got in a convo. Turns out she had a Thai boyfriend. And said boyfriend broke up with her a day before the flight. 

 

Just as my inner choir started to chant she also revealed she was taking a connecting flight to Jakarta. So no chance to hook up in KL. However, the girl was touching her hair non-stop, asked me to check her nail job, which was spectacular. I held her hands and told her so. Then I said "let me make sure you can still hold hands" and clasped her hand in mine. She giggled with giddy excitement. 

 

I then asked to take a photo and held her close to me as I took a few snaps. She did as well. Even though I had only slept two hours the conversation was sparkling , her English superb. We exchanged our mutual stories of heartbreak and bonded accordingly. 

 

When we left we walked together until she had to do her digital form. I'd already done mine so I ditched her as I had to go  to work and was late. 

 

If it weren't for that we would have banged, either at the airport or my hotel. What a shame, but what a lovely flight companion she was. 

Actually looks like there's a good chance I can hook up with plane girl anyway, let's call her Sophie. 

 

I had the good sense to get her Insta details and we've been talking all day today. As it's only two days from her break up the wound is still raw. The Thai guy and her are still texting. She said he told her he enjoys life without her more. This of course only has her convinced she loves him more. 

 

Hence when I offered her to come visit me and forget about the past she said I'd have to speak to her father cause she still lives at home. Of course I will, no problem. 

 

But we agreed she'll have to let things settle unless her father thinks she just sleeps around. It suits me though to wait a bit, better to be sure her ardour for her ex has cooled. Besides I have to meet that 19 year old in Bangkok next week. 

 

I might arrange to meet Sophie in Bangkok as well. I much prefer it to KL.

Anyway, whilst I'm in this rainy gray hell hole that is Malaysia I can let you know some good news. 

 

I've been writing with Sophie. I liked her so much that when it came to the point that when she asked me if I have kids I decided to tell her the truth, that I had 2. I almost lost her. As expected, she didn't love the news, she said her family is very trad, father's a priest and wouldn't like it, the villagers would gossip. I almost thought that was it. 

 

But with a bit of dread and signalling withdrawal things turned around. She decided to give us a chance. Then her ex got in touch and wanted her back. With some expert advice from yours truly she told him it was over. So then she focused her attention on me and said we should date. So I have to fly to Jakarta next month. 

 

Single life is not easy, guys. But glad things turned around with Sophie

These niqabs freak me out. There are pretty women here, but you feel like you're in Bangladesh and the morality police will come any minute. Malaysia is so not for me. Good food, ok, but constant rain, humidity, Thailand is so much better.

Yeah, it really was a mega mistake to reveal I had 2kids. My stupid honesty, I have to reign that in. I can't believe you said Batak, she is actually Batak. 

 

We were talking yesterday, and I told her I had a rule that my gf can't text with exes and other guys. Another dumbass mistake. Of course turned out she has this group of guy and girl friends. They had an issue with one of the girls having a bf who didn't like her hanging with these guy friends. And Sophie hates that bf. I honestly told her the boyfriend was right and a gf should prioritise her rel. So she said I'm glad you're not my man, clearly we can't be together. I agreed. 

 

So silence this morning and just now she hits me up saying she missed me. These crazy emotional things.

I just can't believe Thailand. So I checked my Insta and I had a convo with this girl where I just stopped replying in Nov 2023. No idea why. Anyway, so I said hi, how are you. We got talking and I invited her to come to Chiang Mai. She was excited, gave me the dates and said to book the ticket. She is unbelievable attractive, a 9. I still can't believe these girls just hop on a plane and come stay with me, a perfect stranger. What a wonderful country. 

In an operation worthy of James Bond I was able to re-enter LOS, and not just that, organised it so that Miki would meet me in the hotel in Bangkok on the day of my return.

 

We had a fun night and day hitting the luxury malls for food, which was a step up from last time as she stayed the night and even took a sick day off work to spend the day with me.

 

My sense of triump and joy at being back in LOS gave way to yet more despair a few days later though, as some investigation on my part showed that Miki had not stayed one day with this guy in Bangkok. In fact she'd flown to Phuket to see him. I confronted her and she said she'd spent there 4 days. That was a new bitter pill to digest. I actually think it was 7 or 11 days. So even now Miki was still lying. I took her to task hard and she cried.

 

Hard to take the magnitude of her betrayal, I thought it was one day, but no, she flew to Phuket. Now I know why she picked an ugly guy, he dangled the 5 star resort in Phuket carrot in front of her. At least things are starting to make sense.

 

My new Indonesian friend is helping me get over it.

That was going to be my main play, when she comes back to ask "how are you going to make it up to me".

 

However, recent events are not promising. I have to go to Bangkok on business this Sunday. So naturally I was looking forward to  all day and all night quality time with Miki. But turns out her family have arranged a family party on the 15th, with relatives she hasn't seen in 5 years at her favourite type of restaurant, these infernal Mookata ratholes. 

 

I'd explored the possibility of her not going to this event. But she loves Mookata, party and lives with mom, so she wants to go. 

 

I'm welcome to join. Ie sit with total strangers for 3 hours whose language I don't speak, eating awful Mookata food. Plus her mother dislikes me, as does her sister and they both know Miki cheated on me, so the humiliation would be total. And at the end of the evening I can say goodbye and go to the hotel with Miki for 2 and a half hours max. She has to get up at 5 am to work at the factory the next day and made clear she can't take more sick days as she's already taken holiday to see me 2 days over Xmas.

 

I've been pushing so hard for her to meet me, expressing my dismay she'd not prefer to spend the night with me, that our comunication has taken a detour to Antarctica. But she's still texting. 

 

Starting to wonder if the juice is worth the squeeze with Miki. She's very hot and attractive, but my problem is that I've forgiven her cheating, so her reasoning now is "no matter what I do, he'll not walk, so I can do whatever I want".  Taking her back may have been a mistake.
