Was buying Mio in US whenever there, but is there a place selling it in Thailand? I switched to Robinsons, similar stuff from UK but limited on flavours. Mio tastes better even it's not "all natural" as this one claims. Anyway, if you know where to find it locally, please share. Thank you.

I'm going back to Texas this month and will be bringing back many of the water enhancers, like i did last year but ran out. I can't find them anywhere here and buying online they are way too high to be worthwhile. I'll have to try Robinsons in Ubon the next time I'm there to see what you're talking about. The HEB in Texas carries at least 5 different brands plus their own of them, including many flavors I like.Ninelife has them but look at the price!...............https://th.ninelife.com/products/mio-liquid-water-enhancer-makes-24-servings-vitamins-162-oz-each-lemonade-pack-of-2?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw1Yy5BhD-ARIsAI0RbXavJhxW8IN6ROyH3PZEcGth0RcSwYEOSP7fRrwxLUJrCEEWLXP2cvQaAq0xEALw_wcB

Uh-oh, you can't get away with controversial statements like that (the topic title) on this Forum.

Brace yourself for attacks.

I prefer lemon. I find lemons last much longer in the fridge than do limes. Limes get hard and are dangerous to cut.

20 seconds in the microwave sorts that out.

Stop it.

My dentist gave me a reality check when she told me to avoid soda water.  It is acidic and erodes tooth enamel.  Adding the lemon or lime makes it more acidic. I was told to drink plain water. I verified and she was indeed correct.

It's not as acidic as most other soft/fizzy drinks such as coke/pepsi, and no other chemicals.  Drinking through a staw helps avoid direct contact with the teeth.

It's funny that your dentist didn't advise you to brush your teeth.

Thanks for this. Next time I'm at Robinsons I'll pick a few up.

Communication error. Robinson department store doesn't carry those. They are UK brand "Robinsons" and I haven't seen these small ones anywhere in brick and mortar shops, but have ordered them online from Lazada.

Here's link to lemon/lime: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/robinsons-real-fruit-mini-lemon-lime-66ml-66-rebranded-to-mini-i2149198727-s7176322494.html

189 THB plus delivery, arrives in 1-2 days in Bangkok, unsure how much longer for upcountry - shop is in Bangkok and dispatches more or less immediately.

Gotcha I'm leaving next week so will be bringing back a few varieties. In the US, most cost about $3.00 USD, about 111 Baht, so they're cheaper there of course. When I get back I'll try a couple of those to see how they taste.

They are super concentrated. Each squash is only 66ml. You need very little in a bottle or glass of water. You should get around 12-15 600ml bottles of water out of one squash - maybe more depending on how diluted you like it.

I always bring a supply from the UK each time I'm over. I get them 2 for £3.25 in the UK, around 135 baht.

They do orange, lemon/lime, summer fruits, apple/blackcurrant and a passion fruit one. The latter two are my favourites.

Being so concentrated, they don't take up too much room in your luggage.

I brought back around 50 last December. This time I'll be bringing back more, as they don't last. In the US, they have grape, orange, Sweet Tea, tangerine, mango-pineapple, cherry of 3 types, lemon, lime, mixed berry, passionfruit-mango, fruit punch, peach-mango, raspberry lemonade, blackberry, strawberry, blueberry, peach tea, strawberry pineapple, green tea, blueberry raspberry and a few more.

A far, far wider selection than we have in the UK 👍

You used the word "dumbing?"  It's pitiful that you would say such a thing.

Agreed.

Must be a very bored old man to post such inane questions.

He may be old and boring but at least his liver is healthy.  People who are young dumb and full of *** don't think about those things.

My liver is very healthy thanks.

I haven't had a single drop of alcohol for 4 years. The last time I drank any type of soft drink was more than 10 years ago.

I only drink 2 things, black coffee without sugar; and water.

Nothing else for the past 4 years.

What do you put in your water?

I put nothing in the water I drink.

I drink litres of water every day, I wake up through the night at times and drink water.

Water is the most refreshing drink on the planet, no need for additives.

It feels like social media and some forums are getting really dumbed down, to the point where we get threads like this. I sort of get it, if it is TikTok, Instagram, or another "kiddie forum". But, this forum is for adults. One would hope for topics with at least a tiny bit of substance.

Congratulations on the least important thread of the week. Perhaps you will become the new Bob Smith. Let us hope not.

he has a long way to go before he will reach georginas level of banality

What has happened to making fresh tea with boiling water and tea bags?

My mother would not allow tea bags in the house,  "work of the devil" and all that.  It had to be loose tea and made in a teapot, which was adorned with a "tea cosy"  (remember those anybody?)   hand knitted by herself of course.

Same applies to susanlea and bobsmith. Thankfully they both seem to have disappeared.

Yeah I see that the topic about the new look is closed to comments, but I wanted to compliment the admin as the new look is quite nice, and the interface is easier to use, easier to read and a big Improvement. Thanks.
