Last Chance, Get out to Vote: Fascism vs Freedom

Bothe sides think the other side are fascists.  One of them is probably right.

Regardless, politicians are like diapers and should be changed regularly - for the same reason. :coffee1:

Vote:  US has some of the most illogical electoral and government processes and systems.

The Senate and House Candidates should be voted on 6 months before the Presidential election.

Who controls the House and/or Senate will help in deciding what changes could be made.  The whole campaign on what they will do and what they can do without the house and Senate are different.

The out of date, archaic, burdensome, flawed, lobbyists, etc, is responsible for some of the long term problems we have today (National Debt, Social Security, Taxes, Amount of Foregn Aid, Military Spending)  enough to make a grown man Cry.

The verb 'eschew' is usually used with a direct object, but can also be followed by a gerund (an ing noun).

You have to eschew something.

"If Donald Trump wins there's no doubt he'll wreck the car and continue to soil the brand of being a Republican, and so I think you're going to watch entire herds of Republicans look for somewhere else that's more respectable," Duncan added. "That could mean we could start hemorrhaging to Democrats by droves. If Kamala Harris wins and does govern towards the middle, she has a chance to grow the net total of the party if she does govern towards the middle.

Tonight I vote for a Cannabis Calm-Down Session, while curling up with a copy of the latest issue of “The Expat Man’s Guide to Stress Relief in Bangkok” – Sexpat Edition.

Meanwhile, the two things that excite me the most will be seeing the deranged geriatric lunatic felon dirty his shorts, again. But more importantly, seeing the USA get their first Black, Indian, and female president in their history. This is next level and a great and triumphant day for humankind.

No it's true.

Mr. Trump wants Russia to win and Ukraine to lose.

Respectfully, I doubt Trump cares one way or the other. He just doesn't appreciate the  worldwide impact of Russian expansionism and thinks he can negotiate with Putin, His is the isolationist view of the USA that thought it could negotiate with European despots too. It is the mindset that embraces tariffs without considering the impact of retaliatory trade measures or of costs to the non wealthy US citizen.

Trump is not an isolationist, that’s a baseless myth.

I wonder what a lot of people on this forum will do without an election to obsess over? Fantasy football?

My team is 6-3.  But I am in trouble in week 12 with almost all my team on bye week.  Be honest I obsess more on football NOW than the election.  I voted and care just not a lot I can do to change the outcome so why stress and argue with strangers on the internet over the values of the two sides.  😁

But how can you get to Heaven if you don't make your political opponents see that they're the Devil's spawn and are headed to Hell?
