Dog deterrent app that actually works ??

Does one actually exist  ??   For use against Soi Dogs

 

I've tried two supposedly excellent ones only to find they do sod all. Meant to be high pitched noise that only dogs can hear and move sharply away

 

I can hear the high pitched noise but clearly the dogs are not remotely bothered lol

Forget apps, what's happening when you encounter dogs? many different situations.

 

I see dogs all the time when cycling 99% ok now

Just occasionally being approached by them late at night walking back to Condo

Daytimes whilst they are about they show no real interest

Maybe they need to get used to you, if you aren't a threat they usually aren't bothered. I have a few i pass near my condo and are fine. Say something to them in a calm non threatening way, usually settles them down when i do it

A mixture of water and bleach in a spray bottle is often recommended on here........

Just smile at them showing your teeth.

Carry a catapult. If attacked by a dog show it  the catapult and go through the motion of using it. They ain't stupid.

 

Or an extending baton from Lazada.

I have of those umbrellas that opens violently at the push of a button. It works a treat. Even if it doesn't frighten them off you can protect yourself.

Since you can hear the high-pitched noise, it is definitely not high enough to keep dogs away.
