British Man Injured in Pattaya Road Rage Incident with Thai Driver
I get into a fight in a phone box? Apart from the fact that makes no sense at all, when last have you seen a phone box in Thailand? So what you are saying is those boys fighting it out in Ukraine should lay down their weapons and use only hand to hand combat? Do you understand what cretinous means? What if the bully is twice the size of the other person? Is the smaller person only a man if he can better a man twice his size in hand to hand combat? Try engaging your brain before you write anything else. You are making Southampton look bad. -

Moving from Retirement to DTV question- Having both at the same time!
I've read quite a few reports of people who got a re-entry permit for their stamps before going to apply for a DTV in Laos. They got the re-entry permit in the event their application for DTV was denied, but they received their DTV without issue and were stamped into Thailand using the DTV without issue. -

A Police Visit on Remembrance Sunday Reveals the Reality of Our Two-Tier Justice System
I do get the point. Pearson is manipulating the public with her tale of Remembrance Day embellishment. The police showed up on that day, because they knew she would be at home as she had been difficult to contact up to that point. There is no reason to identify a complainant because the action was a public act. There has never been a requirement to have a person complain when there is a threat of an act of violence. If one were to say,"Let's attack the homeless refuge in Bath tonight", there is no requirement for anyone to bring a specific complaint. Nor is it any different when there is an act of vandalism to public property or when uttering threats such as "I will blow up a train station". You claim there is a "non crime". It was not determined at the time. That is why the police were investigating. It is alleged that the person encouraged physical violence against a religious/political group. The law exists because of groups who have in the past organized to attack multiple minority groups. The laws can also be used against the supporters of Hamas who march in the streets of London. Unfortunately, those people enjoy the protection of multiple MPs, student groups, religious activists and labour unions. -

Shocking cruelty: Child abuse claims haunt Chiang Mai orphanage
From old time, an orphanage had been a warm bed for the abusers. Some sick adults take advantage of the most vulnerable people(abandoned minors) in the society. Enforcing the rule of terror; by the unreasonable form of Punishment. As shown in famous movies like Oliver Twist. -

DEI is dead! Let's celebrate the demise of that woke nonsense
I applied for a job a few months ago that implicitly stated that minorities etc would be given priority for the hiring process. Totally discriminatory. Or I was in my local bank a year back and noticed a sign behind the teller that said Black entrepreneur loans available. Don't think I need to mention how racist that is do I ? -

Some help from gentlemen on my visa...
Actually, many immigration offices only allow one 60-day visit Thai wife extension per visa. So if the op has the Multiple Entry marriage visa, and has already done a 60-day extension since receiving it, they might not be allowed to do another one. Something to keep in mind, but based on the Op not liking to go to immigration I would assume they have not used this. -

DEI is dead! Let's celebrate the demise of that woke nonsense
Not so fast. Boeing will retain its DEI initiatives. The DEI department was reduced as part of overall cost containment actions at a company in deep financial crisis. The responsibility for DEI is now incorporated in HR activities as opposed to being a stand alone silo. Boeing remains committed to creating a culture of inclusion that attracts and retains the world’s top talent, and inspires every teammate to do their best work and grow their careers. DEI is neither dead nor suspended. It continues. Younger people both expect and demand it. The initial intent of DEI was to ensure that a workplace reflected the local population diversity and was to ensure that competent skilled workers could be recruited and retained. Those goals are still worthwhile. In some companies, there has been an intentional sabotage of the efforts by a vested group of people. There have also been multiple incidents of absolute idiocy by DEI managers who were not properly supervised. The weakness of the DEI in some companies is that the wrong people were hired, in part because the position was not taken seriously. If done right it can make a workplace a better. Unfortunately, DEI is often just for show and provides little benefit to the people it is supposed to help. However, some companies have used their DEI initiatives to attract even better quality people, e.g. Amazon, Intel, Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet, Adidas, Nike, Banks,
