Lidar Robot Vacuum Cleaner Group Buy 3800THB (2 person incldg. myself)

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have had my eyes on the global version Laresar Mars01 Robot Vacuum Cleaner with LDS Lidar Navigation App and Mop for hard floor and thin carpet.

https://s.lazada.co.th/s.I2GT0

This unit has been reduced now to 4839 THB and I my trigger finger was itching.

But then I noticed that Lazada and the store have a special discount which reduces the price to 3824 THB IF I BUY *TWO* UNITS!

So I am looking for someone to go in with me. I live in the Chiang Phueak area.

This is a very well equipped uni - I think something like this has been sold for 20000 THB just two years ago. Please check out the video and the unit's specs at https://s.lazada.co.th/s.I2GTO

The store selling is a LazMall certified Flagship store, which is according to my knowledge the highest rating a store can have on Lazada. Plenty of replacement parts like brushes etc. are available for very little money on Lazada as well as on Ali.

Please send me a PM soon if you are interested, since the deal finishes tomorrow and tomorrow I will be most of the day at immigration to get my extension.

I wish more expats could find ways to cooperate as @Barley has done on this topic.

What I appreciate is not just discount price, but that Barley did a lot of research to find a good product and a reputable seller.

Would be very helpful to see other ways to cooperate following his lead.

As you can guess from the posts, we went ahead and bought two of the robot vacuum cleaners.

If anybody is interested to buy one or two (for bigger discount) on their own, please see the links above.

Good idea about getting one of these auto-vacuum cleaners.

But, will it do corners on wood floors?

Here where I live in CM, the dust is horrendous.

I might need only one.

But, I think I will first check-out what great deals I can get from China.

Sometimes you can get super deals if you have a friend in China.

Report on this "transaction":

Everything about this co-operative purchase went smoothly.

@Barley kept me informed by LINE at every step of the way, from sending my initial deposit to him, to delivery of the product by messenger just a few minutes ago.

He thoughtfully prepared a map to his place for the messenger.

And he kindly offered to assist me with setting up the app on the device.

That's much better "customer service" than I would expect from HomePro or Thai Watsadu ! !

In future, if @Barley offers any other co-operative ventures here, I can highly recommend going in with him.

  • 2 weeks later...

Follow up after a few weeks of use:

1. Works very well to keep floors clean and shiny with all the dust and air pollution here.

2. Simple and easy.  I am not using the "app" at all.  Just press start button and it goes to work.  Start before going to sleep and it works in the dark.  Wake up to clean and shiny floors.

3. After finishing work, automatically returns to it's charging dock.  No extra effort to keep it charged.  Only effort is empty dust and add water.

4. In addition to adding water, I put in a little "MagiClean" floor mop liquid.  Instructions say to not do that, but I do.  Works well (so far).

5. Not a "vacuum" cleaner at all.  Zero vacuum function or vacuum noise.  Just a mechanical sweeper with a rotating brush underneath.  Years ago we called that a "carpet sweeper".

For a bachelor expat who doesn't want to do house work, and with the dust in Chiang Mai, this is very convenient.
