webfact Posted Friday at 04:41 AM Posted Friday at 04:41 AM Police in Chon Buri apprehended two Thai individuals and a Myanmar citizen, accusing them of trafficking a young girl from Myanmar to work under exploitative conditions. The arrests, executed by the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Division (ATPD) and the local office of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS), followed court-issued warrants. The Thai nationals involved were identified as 65 year old Porntip and 50 year old Saman, along with Myanmar national Naw Tha Tha Yee. According to the Thai police, these individuals face severe charges, including human trafficking and the exploitation of minors under 15 years old. This operation marked the climax of an investigation initiated in February after a 10 year old girl was discovered sleeping in a cemetery in Chon Buri. The child, bearing signs of physical abuse with bruises on her arms and legs, was promptly taken under the care of the MSDHS. Investigations revealed the girl’s illegal entry into Thailand from Myanmar, prompting police intervention. Officers discovered that Yee had allegedly bought the child from her parents in Myanmar, subsequently registering her as an adopted daughter in 2022. Arrangements were made for the girl’s clandestine entry into Thailand through Tak province. Initially, the child was taken to Saman’s residence in Samut Prakan before being moved to Porntip’s home in Chon Buri, where she was coerced into working as a domestic helper. The girl recounted to officials her harrowing experiences, stating that she was frequently locked up, subjected to physical abuse, and deprived of food whenever she erred, which ultimately led to her escape. Upon apprehending the suspects, police discovered another young girl and uncovered evidence hinting at the possible trafficking of a third girl into the country. This disturbing discovery underscores the urgent need for continued vigilance and action against human trafficking activities, reported Bangkok Post. by Puntid Tantivangphaisal Photo courtesy of Bangkok Post Source: The Thaiger -- 2024-11-15 5

In plain English, does this mean connections and bribes were paid to border guards and immigration officers to "ease the way"? They should be locked up for the double the time of the civilian criminals imo 3

Popular Post Confuscious Posted Saturday at 09:53 AM Popular Post Posted Saturday at 09:53 AM The BIG FAULT lies in the Junta government of Burma which allow anybody to "buy" a 10-year old girl and traffic her out of the country. - The parents of these girls should be hold accountable and get a severe punishment. - Thailand should stop ALL RELATIONS with the Burmesee government until they clean their act up. But Thailand is not much better in that matter. 1 1 1

It's a serious problem in Canada and has been going on for decades. My friend's gf was taken by Jamaicans and moved all over 2 provinces being p-imped out. We were just out of high school and the RCMP did little about it. The girl's mom tracked her down to a seedy area of Calgary, where the police rescued the girl and arrested the p-imps. Not sure what happened to the criminals, but the girl couldn't handle what was done to her and ended up taking her own life. Joe Biden's people "lost track" of 10's of thousands of unaccompanied minors since opening the Southern Border, so these problems aren't unique to developing countries. 1 2 1

john donson Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago life long jail terms... was it to work as slave labor? sex slave or .... organ donor?
lordgrinz Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago For this type of crime, serious penalties should be handed down, indeed... "Burn them at the stake". 3 hours ago, watchcat said: Burn them at the stake.

That's what I was wondering. Perhaps it was only as a domestic slave and physical abuse victim, without sexual abuse. But who knows what would have happened once she got a bit older? A bit odd to go to such effort just for someone to clean the house. Good that she escaped and hopefully she has a brighter future now.

Thats going to be a huge scandal and besmirch everyone involved in the Biden administration as it all starts coming out. Migrant girls are being sold on the streets of NYC, and if one doesnt beleive that, let me know and I will help bring reality into your world. 1 1 1
