Something smelling musky -- the age of undemocratic in your face oligarchy in the USA.

Trump won because the middle class, black Americans, Latinos, Asians, women, Arabs, Muslims, Jews, white America. the working class etc. voted for him more than Harris.

I barely follow the charade that is politics, and even I know what you just stated is incorrect just by having a brief glance of how various demographics voted.

Anyway I just keep an eye out until people in the West are ready to reject Modern Liberalism. Sadly I think I will be an old man before that ideology is given the boot once people have had enough and would prefer to live in the forest. Make no mistake about it, whatever actor is pretending to run the show, Western countries have been highly liberal for decades, about as liberal as a society can be before it crumbles. Promotion of the weak over the majority productive populace: LGBT, feminists, soy boys, Sub Saharans, fringe group minorities and other assorted weirdos who will not breed are highlighted as the winners when it's the complete opposite. It also plays a victim/victimizer paradigm that is nothing short of a work of fiction. It does make me laugh when liberals who have had the ideology they want in the West for decades still complain and move to more right wing places such as Thailand, or areas of their own country that hasn't been ruined by this destructive ideology.

You see what you had to do there? You had to qualify your big win with "barring the deep blue states". Now, if one of them had been flipped, then THAT would have made the win epically landslidey.

Bigly even.

I did say previous to the election NY would see a swing to Trump.

Trump made a 5 percent gain in Manhattan, 6 percent in Brooklyn, 11 percent in both the Bronx and Queens, and 8 percent on already Republican-leaning Staten Island.

Got it.

Of course you are entitled to your opinion but I can't ascribe any credibility to not seeing Trump as an authoritarian style leader. It's like what planet are you from.

Saying that, I will now disengage as I find it a waste of time talking to people clearly not grounded in reality.

What planet am I on ? Grounded in reality ?

Any little credibility you had has vanished. That's not opinion it's fact. Based on your previous year or so of postings being so dead wrong.

But I'll go back to my bizzaro reality while you wallow here in the real world.

Don't disengage quite yet. Maybe your thread is a tad premature as they swarm to slather themselves in the myth of the landslide that never was. All this while they furiously doggie-paddle away in their shallow pool of intellectual mediocrity.

Anyway, it looks like I've got you furiously googling for maps. Good boy. Much appreciated.

No one said that solid blue states will flip. Now you can tell us what blue states did flip. Here's a start and this was a big one. PA.

Don't get me wrong. The Democrats thankfully lost and the Republicans won.

Now, let's see how the next two years work out for the president-elect.

I agree and have said this previous. Give him a free hand. He'll get a slap in 2 years if people don't like the way things are going.

As I understand it, the only demographic that shifted a bit from Trump to Harris were white males with post graduate degrees, i.e. elitists.

PA is the perpetual SWING state. It has flipped 10 times in the past 70 years.

Historically, it has seen more Republican electoral votes than Democrat.

It's never been a blue state.

Yes, let's see if the importance of the mid-terms is lost on EITHER party. It's going to be interesting.

Did I say PA was solid blue? No I did not so please DO NOT misrepresent what I posted. I asked for what blue states flipped red. Hint: Every swing state that was blue in 2020 bar none.

A post with a video from a Questionable Source due to the promotion of propaganda, conspiracy theories, and numerous failed fact checks has been removed.

Sounds like it might have been a good video!

This is why Trump won. He unashamedly offered a quid quo pro to the oligarchs to get him elected. With people like this running the show the rule of law has no chance. Bribery and corruption at its worst. Plum governemnt jobs for sale, simple as that.

President-elect Donald Trump has selected Chris Wright, a campaign donor and fossil fuel executive, to serve as energy secretary in his upcoming, second administration.

Yet Harris outspent Trump by what, two to one?

No one believes you guys anymore. You're going to have to start telling the truth now and them in you want to regain any credibility.

Harris/the left represents the people talking down.

Trump represents the people being talked down to.

Musk did spend $44 billion on Trumps behalf does that count?

Not sure what a prole is but it seems you're calling all those that shifted across to Trump are "dumb". Here lies the problem. It was language like this that helped them make up their minds to move to Trump. Of course this wasn't a shift to the right. The right shifted to them. The radical progressive woke left moved away from them.

Yes, the PACs are included in the spending, but I think you are off on what Musk spent.

It's short for proletariat, or the working people the left looks down their nose at.

"Elon Musk acquired Twitter for US$44 billion in 2022. This massive deal marked a significant shift in the social media landscape."

Musk is 100%  MAGA plus!

You started it when you misrepresented the election results with this landslide nonsense. But OK, your other points are valid. The "traditional" swing states swung.

With less than two weeks to go, mainstream media suddenly (desperately?) quoted polls that suggested North Carolina was going to flip and could carry Harris to victory (pending results in your "traditional" swing states). In the end, it wasn't even close in NC and of course the swingers swung and the rest is history.

Apart from Carter and the first Obama term, the state has been red since Tricky Dicky. Not a snowball's chance in hell IMHO. That, to me, this colossal straw clutch was affirmation that the Democrats were going to be toast.

It will be interesting to see if the pollsters get a firmer handle on predictions going forward, but somehow, I doubt it.

What "the left looks down their nose at" notwithstanding, they are what they are. The salt of the earth, down home, folksy sort.

Bless 'em.

If you mean the ones who have heavy student debt paying off useless degrees, I can understand why they'd vote Blue.  They want their debt expunged.  No mystery there.

And they can't understand why the dumb prole charged them $300 to clear their drain.
