Thailand Unveils Bold Tax Reform as VAT Proposal Faces Backlash
here is a very radical suggestion:- How about Thais paying some form of ta on their income? How about every Thai with an income above the minimum wage paying an income tax of 20% on any income above this? At the moment, I believe that less than 25% of working Thais pay any form of income tax. Without any revenue, how can any government function? Has there ever been , or will there ever bee a government with the courage o introduce such a from of universal income tax? Without a tax base, Thailand will never become a 'developed country' -

Time for a System Change ?
There are billions of people who don’t have “enough”. Take Musks stock and sell it all to raise money for them. But sell it to who? Other billionaires? Oh….wait….you want their money too. But first they must divest their assets….to who? I’m sure there are billions of people who think you have too much. 700 million people live in less than $2 a day. Thai minimum wage is something they can only dream of. And Thais make more than billions of people. Should Thais only get $4 a day? how much do you deserve? I’d be willing to bet that you think you deserve more than them. it reminds me of a girl who worked as a concierge in a Los Angeles apartment I used to live in. Complete SJW (like yourself). She was paid $16/hour and would go on and on about how the parking valets deserved $15 a day instead of the $10 they were getting. They finally got it. Her wage stayed at $16. She was furious. She really didn’t care about the parking attendants but just thought that if they got a raise that she would get a commensurate raise too. You are playing the same economic arbitrage that everybody else on this forum is playing. Somehow I doubt you’re living on ฿15,000 a month. But it sure feels good to virtue signal, doesn’t it? -

Britain and Italy Join Forces to Target People-Smuggling Gangs with Mafia-Inspired Tactics
I’m not conflating anything, I’m drawing a very clear comparison between Labour quietly deporting 13,500 people and the Tories spending hundreds of £millions to deport 4 people. The OP makes a comparison to the improved deportation record of Labour over the Tories. -

Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part II
Were you being sarci or vaguely serious? If the latter then I doubt it very much. From a purely practical perspective even if only that April would be too soon....... especially as online filing is up to the 7th April or whatever it is.......... Does anybody know for certain if they ever filled those extra new 70 posts that were being talked about a year ago?
