I know this has been covered but it was14 years ago.   Maybe there is something new.    I don't understand why nobody but King Power sells Crown royal.

I don’t understand why you think that is true.

Might want to state where you are located, though guessing Krung Thep area.

I am in Pattaya but would go to Bangkok if I could buy it.

No.  I've looked in duty free in a dozen or so airport terminals.  None of the vendors had it.  Most never heard of it.

Same with Drambui for my Rusty Nails.  Uggg

I was told, many moons ago, that the 'local' distributor of Crown was reusing the empty bottles and substituting it with their local brew (or something to that effect).  The distributor was caught substituting the alcohol by Seagram who decided that they would never allow Crown Royal to be sold in Thailand except at the duty free shops.  I don't shop for it anymore; although, I've got about 2/3 of a bottle in my closet. (one day I'll probably drink it)

I've a friend, who is no longer in Thailand, whose wife could get it in Thailand, but he never disclosed how she got it. (he was always well stocked).

BTW: I could not find anything about a place called Siam Liquor.

I thought that you had to travel out of Thailand and then buy your duty free when you came back.   I am not traveling so I don't think I can buy from "Duty free"

I brought a 1.75 liter bottle of crown royal in my luggage last time I was in Canada a few weeks ago. Yumm. Not quite macallan quality but still quite drinkable.

No, but if you buy three tins of cherry blossom shoe polish,

Not accusing anyone of anything, but fake booze very much a thing here. It's all over Lao, Myanmar. Many brands indistinguishable until tasted. Huge run of fakes on Line, FB. I bought some.

Story in the post about someone named busted, charged and doing same again as I recall.

I always deface the bottles. Caps don't matter, they put on new caps.

Refills - buying empties from the clubs

Imports - Pakistan, India,  China probably Vietnam as well.
