I am so glad I read this piece of non-news. I know now to put my shoes under the lockable seat.

Non news, it's certainly scrapping the bottom of the barrel.

And Scraping too ! 555   If you Scrapped the bottom of the barrel, it would not hold anything.    Sorry for the English lesson.

He answered his own question.

But they would be Second Foot, as opposed to second hand.

You might want to read up on English phrases before giving an  'English lesson'

The English phrase is Scraping the bottom of the barrel, as opposed to SCRAPPING ie getting rid of, the said bottom.

I know English is difficult. RAPPING and RAPING are completely different

Are those tattoos on his legs or is he some hairy variant of a lowland gorilla? Also tattoos and no apparent helmet for the motorbike. Prospective Go Fund Me account in the making.

The tattoos on his legs are the lower part of his shorts.

The photo of him was not necessarily taken just after the incident

Someone stole my fried chicken one time.  We out and put the picnic basket down and then went to take a photo of the lake.  Just a few meters away.  When went back the fried chicken had gone.  At first we thought it was a dog but the chicken was under 3 bags of sticky rice.

I have respect for the man.  I wish I was as good at theiving.  Good for him.

Opportunistic theft is common at Thai beaches. Why is anyone surprised?

The only surprising aspect of the thefts is that tourists would be surprised that they were  robbed.

I have seen people running about screaming because their wallet was stolen from their pants. It's why the police post signs to  watch your valuables and to lock them up.

Just leave your feet under the bike. Once they get stolen you'll have no need for your shoes.

i nearly lost my shoes when i nearly went to Thailand last year.

Even though some rappers end up rapists.
