Help, i fancy my local pharmacist (F) !

So I fancy my local pharmacist and I'd like to believe she likes me too....you know, just that feeling you have when you know someones likes you. 

The other day i asked what her name was, but that's about the only thing i know about her. Don't know her age or if she has a boyfriend, etc. I would think she's not over 30.

The thing is, she speaks limited English. I'm kinda scared to come off as creepy if I go to her store too much, and to be rejected if I ask for her social. I was thinking of inviting her to eat with me. But I'm not really sure how to break the 'customer-merchant' dynamic. Should I bluntly ask her out ? Any advice?

you like her look and the presence of her! Things we used to do when we where tenagers, or sometimes at the local shop where a new lady appeared, and we managed to pull a date. Cant remember I have done anything like that since I was a teenager. Anyway, none of them appeared to be anything like what I thought they where 😄

 

Anyone here managed to pull a bird like that for a serious relationship? Anyway, what is your intention?

Young woman doing those kind of jobs are usually very lovely and quiet.

Before I dated a nurse and she was fantastic, very easy going girl.

 

Don't worry too much about the language. It's not so difficult to learn a good English, and she'll be quite happy to learn it.

 

How to socialize with her? Don't be too aggressive, don't be too hurry, good girls likes slowly. Use Dawson Leery's way.

First step is ask her if she has a boyfriend. Asking for LINE right away is too presumptuous. When she doesn't give it to you, then things might feel a little awkward. You could ask for some obscure med that she'd have to order, and then ask her to text you on LINE when she has it.

 

My pharmacist, whom I've known for years, and I like each other quite a bit, and we had a little moment last time I was in her shop. But she's quite married, and I have a long-term gf, so that's that.

Unless you are in the 30's and 40's then I would say she is just being polite. You go to a bar then you know you are getting lied to to boost your ego. I was 51 when I married my 37 year old wife - she was well educated and not a bar girl, I would not think a younger girl would be interested in an old man (if you are over 65 unless she is working in a bar. Happens , yes, but ask yourself what on earth she sees in you other than a good customer.

Ask her out, name an expensive Thai restaurant. It will either be yes or no.

 

Agree date and time. If she turns up, you're on a winner. If she doesn't, you were told what she thought you wanted to hear.

 

Don't embarrass both yourself and her by going back to the pharmacy if your effort to connect is unsuccessful.

 

A sure winner in conversation is to inquire after her family.

I feel like asking her if she has a bf is on an equal level of awkwardness. Asking her LINE could be something like : 'I enjoy chatting with you, maybe we can add each other on Line'

Agreed. The OP @Aurelien should open the LINE QR code on his phone and offer it to her to scan. He'll soon know if she's interested or not. Worked for me several times. Then he can take their chat private and she can translate if her English is not so good. Guys really do need to learn basic or better Thai language for the dating game. Well worth the effort and a lot of fun in my experience.

She has some education so she isnt a street walker and problem has a higher level expectation. If your serious then you should visit a couple more times over about 2 or 3 weeks.  Chap her up a little each time and see her reaction. Then maybe show up later in the evening for something and maybe ask her to recommend a resturaunt thats decent that's close by. Then you have an opening to invite her along without being creepy. All thai woman aren't ready to jump in the sack with the first guy that comes along. Paving the way with a couple visits can show you the kind of girl she really is a you'll have a better idea if she's interested or just being friendly with a customer which is often the reality.

Should be able to find someone local who can give you the skinny on whether she's romantically involved with anyone. If that hurdle is cleared, send an emissary to feel her out about her interest in you. That way, if there's no interest, you can pretend you don't know anything about it, and won't have to worry about any awkwardness in the future.
