Trump looks for very low quality, highly compromised individuals for positions of important positions of leadership, strictly based on fealty and loyalty to him, with no consideration whatsoever given to the qualifications of the individual.

That is just who and what he is, he is a bottom of the barrel politician and an intelligent pic for an important post can never be expected of Donald Trump.

What is wrong with picking loyal people if you are trying to make changes? His choices are not exactly factory workers or fork lift drivers. John Bolton had experience and all he did was try to provoke war with Iran against Trumps wishes, hence getting sacked.

Are all gov positions held by people with specific qualifications for their office?

KASH PATEL, FORMER CHIEF OF STAFF TO THE UNITED STATES SECRETARY OF DEFENSE:

We will go out and find the conspirators, not just in government, but in the media. Yes, we're going to come after the people in the media who lied about American citizens since, who helped Joe Biden rig presidential elections.

We're going to come after you whether it's criminal or civilly. We'll figure that out. But, yes, we're putting you all on notice

Probably right up to the time they come for you and yours.

Is this no different from the list of Putin's critics targeted by KGB of which some had died in highly suspected circumstances and yet there are some apologists who are making a defense of him. Astonishing to watch the impending decline of civility and democracy of America.

Those of you who took the oath didn't seem very keen to defend your borders, which in my opinion is the first duty of a nation. I don't suppose the US knows how many foreign terrorists it has wandering around the nation, being that most illegals destroy their docs before slipping into the country. You'd better be hoping and praying that it doesn't come to "real civil war" because I don't give you lefty snowflakes much of a chance against the MAGA crowd of genuine patriots.

Are you implying that the border was secured during Trump's presidency?

Looks as if you have joined the ranks of the Chicken Little Gang.  The sky is not falling.  You of all people should know better.

But there's a gangster in charge and worse , people voted for him and because he won all his misdeeds just evaporate ... wouldn't make sense to a 4 year old but whatever ... I hope you're correct in your assessment .

Is Patel on CCTV stealing women's luggage at airports?  If not, he's 2 steps above Biden appointees.

It's a good thing you're not a lawyer, if that was your defense you would we kicked out of the courtroom in the first 5 minutes.

Typically most efficient governments and administrations will look for somebody who does have a level of expertise in the ministry that they are governing. Trump never considers that, he does not ever consider whether or not somebody will do a good job governing, as he only picks low hanging fruit. And he only considers the amount of destruction they can wreak, and the amount of revenge they can allow him to put forth.

Should this happen, the gloves of true patriots will come off. Those of us who took the oath, and took it seriously, remember the part about "all enemies, foreign and domestic". We were given authority to take out foreign terrorists who posed a threat to the US. The oath stands. Nobody voted for fascism, or if they did, they are enemies of the State and deserve no quarter. Anywhere.

The fastest way to start a real civil war would be for lackey Patel to begin going after innocent people. Darkness is descending on the United States, and the next few years are going to be worse than anything the country has experienced in its 250 years. I doubt it will survive as 50 States. I know what side I will be on, and it won't be the fascists'.

Worse and worse. Believe this doo and I guess you would believe anything!

So as an adherent of QAnon, I guess little Kash believes Hillary and Tom Hanks, among others, are part of an international cabal that kidnaps, rapes, roasts and eats babies. And the basement of a basement-less pizza restaurant in DC is their base.

47 certainly does have access to 'the best people'.

Sadly for the magas, it looks like alcohol abuse and violence against women just might put the breaks on the candidacy of Pete Hegseth, with Ron "Desanctimonious" (per 47's nickname) on deck.

You need to address the President elect as  President Trump or Mr President.

His official title.

After all you claim to be an “oath taker” and “patriot”.  What a joke.

Otherwise I see it as conduct unbecoming by a terminated CIA employee.

No we don't. We can address him as the weasel. The thief. The huckster. The phony, or the goon.

Respect has to be earned and it should never be freely given, he conducted a completely ridiculous campaign, he said an inordinate number of ridiculously stupid things, and none of that should ever be forgotten. Okay, he won and he's president now, but you could dress up a wild boar with royal garments it's still just a very unattractive wild animal.

Legally he can be addressed as a criminal as long as his conviction records are registered in the DOJ repository

That poster often calls posters cult members. He is using that term in an inflammatory and derogatory manner. Yet it goes completely unchecked.

Calling Trump supporters cult members is no different than people saying some on the left have the syndrome.

0 difference yet different actions.  Which is so ironic and tragic at the same time.

Yes you do.

He won the election by a landslide.

Just because you’re a crybaby doesn’t take that away from being addressed as Mr President.

Be a good minion and follow the advice of your cult leader.  “”Big Boys Don’t Cry “.
