Any small cryptos worth looking at
I have two homes, and no need to move anything. Got my investments spread out, including gambling on my wife a small percentage. So we will see in 20 years or how things go. -

surgery at government hospital in Bangkok
My husband has to have an inguinal hernia operation sometime in the next six months but as he is an expat, retired, 87 years old (so his health insurance became unaffordable a few years back, his doctor has recommended he try to have the surgery at a government hospital. Does anyone know if he can do this privately at a government hospital in Bangkok (not Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun, which I have been told is as expensive as Bumrumgrad) and, if so, the best hospital to contact and an idea of the room rates? We know a medical exam will be necessary to get a quote for the actual operation. Thank you. -

UK Controversial Junk Food Crackdown Targets Breakfast Staples Including Porridge
It's the precooked instant oat based products that are 50% sugar that are being targeted, Proper porridge oats are not the target. Some people think granola and muesli is healthy. It isn't if it is heavily sweetened with high fructose sweeteners and dosed with additives. -

Stray Dogs Attack Tourists Daily on Koh Muk
They insist on calling them "stray" dogs as though they just wandered off from someone's backyard and ended up there. The truth is that they were born and raised there and are fed by the local Thai people. If not, they would not exist. In my local park (Pattaya), a couple on a trike feeds about 100 dogs every morning and night. This is in a public park with signs not to feed the animals. Of course, the food is very cheap and not very nutritious (flavoured rice), so these animals are not healthy and riddled with disease. I feel sad for the dogs. They have a miserable existence and it's cruel to let them exist in the first place. The Thai people feeding these dogs every day think they are doing good by feeding these animals low-quality food, but they are guilty of animal abuse. -
