Thai tax tangle: Expats warned of new rules on overseas income
It doesn't work that way. They won't ever contact you to ask to file except if you're being audited. Like in most countries. ignorance of the law is not a valid excuse. -

Importing Embryos and Bull Straws into Thailand from Australia
Hi has anyone had any recent experience importing Cattle embryos or bull straws into Thailand from Australia? I am looking for an importer to handle the Thailand side of things. The inquires I have made is that the Thai importers only want to deal with the exporters they work with. This is a problem for me as I want to import a specific product from a specific breeder. He last imported into Thailand in 2019. From the Australian side we have covered all the requirements for import, as per thai requirements regarding vaccinations. Hoping someone can help. -

Time to End "Pay to Slay" the Palestinian Authority’s Terror Funding Network
In 2007 when Hamas took control of the Gaza Strip from the PA, Israel declared Hamas a hostile entity, then in 2008 facing sustained rocket attacks to their southern settlements, Israel sealed the border. Gaza also shares a border with Egypt, and Egypt sealed its border with Gaza in 2007. I wonder why you didn’t mention Egypt blockading Gaza for the last 18 years, especially as you are “a neutral” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -

The CBR250RR: Is It Worth The Price Tag?
Yep, the CBR250R from the year of the great flood is a solid, reliable bike. As long as you change the oil every 4,000 kilometers, it seems like it will run forever with little to no issues. They’re probably only worth around 20K Baht now, but as you said; never to be sold. I have a friend with a pristine CBR650F, I believe from around 2013. It has fewer than 5,000 km on the clock and looks brand new. He keeps it garaged, covered, and only takes it out 3–4 times a year for short rides. He often talks about selling it because he never uses it, but I doubt he ever will. He changes the fluids and battery every couple of years, but I think he just enjoys knowing it’s there. Maybe if someone made him a great offer, he’d consider it, but I still have my doubts he will ever let it go. It seems like a waste and a pity that it just sits there, but when someone loves something like that then the practicalities of owning it become even less important.
