Lets face it,Chauvin did the world a favour.Yes St George was some mothers son but the pity should end there.

A career criminal junkie that was a burden on mankind and if he was white ,people would be rejoicing at his demise.

He wasn't convicted for arresting a violent career criminal though was he? He was convicted for unintentional second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter. That's because the knelt on his neck for nine and a half minutes until he was dead - when he was already handcuffed and subdued - and prevented medical assistance from being rendered until it was too late. He continued to apply force to his neck even after he became aware he was unconscious and had stopped breathing (he admitted this). But yeah, woke media etc etc.

Chauvin also admitted to assaulting a 14 year old child by smashing him in the head several times with a flashlight and kneeling on his neck for several minutes even though the child was face down, handcuffed and not resisting. Luckily he didn't die. But yeah, free him, he's a hero. He is scum and deserves to rot in prison.

Pathetic. The level of racism on this forum is pretty disgusting, but no one brave enough to own it.

Detailed in the OP's link...

Following his murder conviction, Chauvin later pleaded guilty to criminal charges for depriving George Floyd and a then-14-year-old boy of their civil rights on separate occasions. He was sentenced to serve 252 months in prison in the federal case.

Condemning a deliberate police murder of a subdued man doesn't equate to being on a high horse. Well maybe the racists on the forum think it does - that's fine with me, I would rather be on the horse than down in that pit of filth.

There are certainly a lot of questions about the trial.  You have to wonder, if the doctor who carried out the autopsy, found that the guy had died of a fentanyl overdose, would he have said that, or would he have felt like he would be getting a target on his back for doing so?

Well the family commissioned their own autopsy and the findings were the same????

Oh the irony.....a blanket statement about "leftists" making blanket statements.... with no supporting evidence......do you not think before posting this drivel?

If you don't know, why don't you just not post anything? The forum is about members opinions, not a cut and paste lecture.

Oh I get it...sorry.....I though facts might play a part....fundamental knowledge, priors........that sort of thing....but really it's about spouting off based on personal prejudices.

I just saw a comment on X  that referenced Derek Chauvin  & George Floyd !

Many seem to think he was innocent!

If ever was a time to revisit his trial  & commute his sentence it should be during Trump’s

admin.

So TRump likes to free the guilty?

Not innocent for sure of a crime. I do not agree that he killed Floyd. The drugs did that, but Derek Chauvin was guilty of being a prick police officer and showing his 'power' side. He was showing just how 'tough' he could be to the crowd and even his fellow officers. I disagree with the murder charges, but his manslaughter conviction may be valid because Floyd died while under his control.

End of the day, drugs killed, Floyd, and, Chauvin, missed the opportunity to save Floyd's life.
