How are the weather and seas in Hua Hin in October? We are planning on taking a family vacation to the beach during the upcoming school holidays. We have 2 young daughters who enjoy the beach, however if the water is too rough we will skip HH. We normally stay south of Khao Takiab on Takiab Bay, Anantasila Hotel.

I must say that I don't pay much attention to the roughness of sea in certain months, so I'm afraid I can't answer that part. But in October, you're coming at the end of rainy season, so you might see a fair bit of rain. Of the 5 Octobers I've spent here, probably 4 have been really quite wet.
