I missed it.

But then I’m always highly suspicious of any quoted percentage without something backing it up.

Especially so when the percentages are 90, 95, 99, 99.99 and 100%.

I refreshed the thread for you

All Western news and social media are extremely biased to pro-Israeli information sources. It's only been lately that the pro-Palestinian side of this conflict is being brought to light.

You must be one of those with your head in the sand, Al Jazeera and many others report more to your liking, but since we here are basically based in the west what sort of news reporting do you expect?

The Arab Palestinians deserve as much access to news and social media as the Jewish Israelis. There are two sides to this story.

Yes, but not two sides to October 7th, 2023.

I don't expect it, but I like to see balanced reporting that does not show bias to one side or the other in cases like this. The news media I've been watching has become more balanced over the past months.

All you said; maybe you need to reflect on the reporting of, Jon Donnison, Lyse Doucet, and Jeremy Bowen; they are all fully qualified BBC antisemites, so I’m sure you are very well aware of them, but unfortunately for you, mentioning them totally disqualifies your statement.

Yes, and in this case, I agree with the BBC, although I don't watch them.

I've never heard of any of the three above...

Rubbish,

The Arab Palestinians have had plenty of access to news and social media and, many times, more than they should have or deserve.

Then why does Israel restrict so many reporters from entering Palestine and the Gaza strip unless accompanied by Israeli troops?

Why has Israel closed down so many news agencies there?

Good grief man, difficult to believe that you have actually asked why Israel restricts many reporters from entering an active war zone; it’s a staggeringly absurd question, but hardly surprising to find you blaming Israel for protecting the welfare of International reporters; something that compromises their own operations, and the safety of their own soldiers ….

Nothing to do with restricting information coming from Gaza, so that the usual denials and deflections can be made by the IDF and the Israeli government, so that only one sided (the Israeli side only) propaganda is published I suppose.

So all the links that I posted and many more are all lies, even though they come from many different sources?

I assume that you believe that all the news published by Israel is the truth, or their version of it.

You may not be old enough to remember but war correspondents have been reporting on wars world wide even since the Boer wars in the 19th century back in 1895. (Winston Churchill was one) There have been war correspondents in all the major wars of the 20th century, through WW1, WW2, Vietnam, Iraq and even the minor wars of the 21st century.

None of them were restricted, so why are the Israeli's restricting correspondents reporting from Gaza and the West Bank?

As for your quote of Israel "protecting" reporters lives, did you know that

as of December 19, 2024, CPJ’s preliminary investigations showed at least 141 journalists and media workers were among the more than tens of thousands killed in Gaza, the West Bank, Israel, and Lebanon since the war began, making it the deadliest period for journalists since CPJ began gathering data in 1992.

https://cpj.org/2024/12/journalist-casualties-in-the-israel-gaza-conflict/

As of December 19:

141 journalists and media workers were confirmed killed: 133 Palestinian, two Israeli, and six Lebanese.
49 journalists were reported injured
2 journalists were reported missing
75 journalists were reported arrested.

Try reading some of the links and it may open your eyes.

How many of those were terrorist's? Why are you ignoring this fact?

Based on information provided by the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center and the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), of the 114 Palestinian journalists identified by the CPJ as being killed in Gaza to date (September 26, 2024), 53 (roughly 46.5%) were either members or affiliates of an anti-Israel terrorist group.

What alternative independent views would those be that they've been denied access to?

There we go again. Anyone challenging the official Israeli narrative is shot down with the official Israeli narrative. And in the process of course accused of supporting hamas or being anti-Semitic.

The official Israeli facts you mean. Is there something wrong with Israeli facts?

If there are other facts to disprove them do let on and link to the evidence.

A post making unsubstaniated claims has been removed. If you are going to debate then do so without using other posters unsubstaniated claims to further those claims.

Hamas gunmen would think that the journalists  were undercover IDF spies (trying to find the hostages) . IDF would think that they are undercover Hamas .

Tarquin from the Guardian would be wandering around Gaza looking for a story to report on and both the IDF and Hamas would be shooting at him , shooting to kill .

Please show me and everyone else where I support Hamas.

BTW what evidence, links or posts have you shown?

The links I have posted are from the open internet that anyone can search for, find and read. Have you even looked at any of them?

So if I am wrong, how many different countries and other posters are wrong, or perhaps it may be you that is wrong.

When I post links, to me it is because I did some looking and some research on the links. How about you.

Out of interest where DO you get your information from?

What is clear is you post links but do so without checking where they got their sources from. Easy to post dozens of links with the same narrative but no evidence to support it.
