Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part II
All that will happen is property sales will go down, sharply, and property rentals will go up, sharply. It will, in effect, help the old saying, "Thailand is for Thai people." Thai's will buy up cheap condo's as investment properties, and foreigners will just rent. What foreigner in their right mind would pay a considerable amount of tax on a lump sum of money to buy an overprice condo in the first place???? There already is no resale value, and this tax will make it near impossible to sell in the future for what was paid for it. -

Fatal Motorcycle Crash at Notorious Bend Sparks Local Superstition
In the UK in 2022 there were 135,000 road accidents. *(in reality, thats probably higher as many go unreported due to insurance excess etc) In Thailand in 2022 there were 939,713 road accidents, with official figures reporting *14,737 deaths *Note previous WHO esimtates are 20,000 to 25,000 deaths when official numbers are similar. *(in reality, thats probably higher as many go unreported as they don't have insurance) The accident rate in Thailand is 7x higher than the UK. The fatality rate per accident in Thailand: 0.0127 deaths per accident The fatality rate per accident in the UK in 0.0157 deaths per accident Thai accident death rates are 1.2x (slightly) greater than the UK - so quite similar going off the figures I have. The stats of course will be questions because they don't fit your rhetoric. Sources: Gov.uk - UK Department for Transport / The Nation Yawn - you're going give up the attempted point score, you've already failed too many times at playing your racist and prejudice card. I doubt this was the deceased first accident, not because he's Thai... but because he's in Thailand.... Western idiots also drink ride and speed and kill themselves on motorcycles here - and they do so out of blind stupidity, if they behaved the same on the UK roads, they'd also die, or have been caught by the police and with repeated offences locked up. -

Trump needs to Offer Asylum to Refugees from Blighty
You appear to have overlooked why the language was ever called "English". Common trait in those that use a bastardised version. -

Trump’s Opportunity to Redefine U.S.-Qatar Relations
U best ask kamala, or Biden, they seem so obsessed and imbued with hitler and also with making really stupid decisions leading to their repeated failures and none bigger than the recent beat-down they received from MAGA Trump. They should have not focused so much on hitler and instead told America why they should vote from Kamala but obviously they are far to stupid to figure it out. But FYI, Trump won the election November 5th, hitler, well, he lives only amongst the haters, are you one them haters who dwells on hitler and loves failure?? LOL -

Is Obesity a Very Serious Problem?
Monkeys can get diabetes. Some species are more prone than others. IMO the saving grace of fruit is its sugar composition. It is usually 50:50 fructose and sucrose. Sucrose is sugar, 50:50 fructose and glucose. Glucose is the sugar that requires insulin, and shows up on blood tests. Fructose is processed by the liver. OTOH, fructose overload can cause non-alcoholic fatty liver disease ( NAFLD ). Lactose is present in milk, regular yoghurts, and soft cheeses. It is also processed by the liver, again potentially causing NAFLD. Hard cheeses contain very little lactose, I eat as much as I want. People drinking skim milk, marketed as healthy , is ironic. Skim milk is actually enriched in lactose. -
