Buying a Dog
I currently reside in Thailand and have made the decision to get a dog, specifically a Pitbull (doesn't have to be purebred). However, I’m unsure about where to begin my search. -

30 Did-You-Know Questions for those 'on the fence' about the mRNA jabs
You are wrong. I had COVID after two vaccinations. Three days of a runny nose and sore throat, finish. An UNVACCINATED friend of mine got COVID about the same time as I did. Prior to the infection, he would walk 10 miles a day, for exercise. After COVID, he could barely walk to his front gate for months, and had memory loss and confusion. Long COVID is real. -

Yes, Virginia, Donald J. Trump WILL be the first convicted felon to become U.S. president
Propaganda is a powerful tool. It's almost as old as civilization itself, but has gained traction more recently with the advent of the printing press and mass media. And it is a favorite of totalitarian regimes and of those intent on establishing a totalitarian regime, such as the current crop of so-called "Democrats." Without propaganda and brainwashed masses, they stand no chance. Take a look at some recent history. See what the Nazi regime and Hitler accomplished in the 30s and 40s. Propaganda + censorship. The people could only consume the mainstream narrative. They were brainwashed. It worked well. Look up Joseph Goebbels and his attempts to control newspapers, films and literature. Glorify Hitler, vilify Jews. We all know how it turned out. They brainwashed the entire nation of Germany. The result was catastrophic. Anyway, you can skip over the next 50 years or so and they're still at it. This time, it's the "Democrats." The mainstream media has been captured, and a huge percentage of the population thinks that when they turn on the TV, they're hearing the "truth." And they really believe it. No one has to recite history. It's there for all to see, and it's ugly.- 1

UK Ex-MP Claims Grooming Gang Ethnicity Was Suppressed to Protect Votes
Why did it take 5 months to bring charges when there was video evidence of the assault on the police? The whole saga stinks to high heaven. You believe what you want. I believe the CPS and Judges are biased as clearly they give light sentences to some, like Huw Edwards and and heavy sentences to others. -

Et tu, Fox?
Wouldn't it be nice if EVERYONE could escape poverty? I used to spend much time listening to Jeffrey Sachs and his views of how to end poverty, while he lectured at Columbia. I like this guy! The best way to stop illegal migration from the South into the USA, is to reduce poverty south of the border. But... Does such a thing just make TOO MUCH SENSE? -

Dwindling Trust in Police: Nearly Half of Britons Fear Inaction on Crime
In which case one would have thought that would be one of the urgent issues to address when bringing in the new budget but instead: Budget cuts forced on police by Labour are deeply troubling, says Met chief The Metropolitan Police Commissioner has warned that Labour’s Budget will mean “eye-watering cuts” to the services his officers can offer the public. Sir Mark Rowley said he was “deeply troubled by the situation we appear to be heading towards” in an interview with BBC Radio 4’s Political Thinking podcast. Britain’s most senior police officer said the accumulated impact of previous spending cuts, coupled with the most recent spending targets for the public sector, would require “difficult choices” of his force. https://www.yahoo.com/news/budget-cuts-forced-police-labour-060000163.html -

I might also suggest that you stop breathing. That's for your own good. Scientists, as well as chiropractors no doubt, have found that air is filled with lots of heavy metals in Thailand, as is most locally grown produce. Seafood is even worse, so take that shrimp off the barbie. What's the data say on people who stop breathing vs those who continue to harm themselves by breathing air filled with heavy metals? By the way, there is increasing evidence that naming a son "James Taylor" is highly correlated with baldness. You can't argue with facts. Plain as day. Don't do that to your own kids. Please. AT least throw in an extra initial, as the former lead singer of Kool and the Gang still sports some hair, but his parents were prescient enough to name him J. T. Taylor. Whew! Lucky. -

Revenue Department boss calls on tax residents in Thailand to file 2024 returns by March 31
The UK tax return requires me to declare income that is subsequently ignored as part of the tax calc., us ssc is one example, because the income does not arise in the UK and I am not uk resident. Whilst this is not currently a feature of the Thai tax return, I expect it to be so this year.
