If not for torrents, can't think of a movie of late, I'd pay to watch, even the 100 baht discount rate at theater. That's the thing though, just because you don't like something it doesn't mean its crap. Things like Game of Thrones and Star Wars aren't my cup of tea, but it doesn't mean they're crap. Just means I don't like them. Theres too many good reviews for them to be crap. That's why its pointless people arguing on here about stuff. You either like it or you don't. 2 3 1 1

Will27 Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Just dropping. Some will like it, some won't. Like I give a poo. 1 1
Seppius Posted March 26 Posted March 26 The thing for me with Adolescent, the story was boring to me, a bit like watching Eastenders But The acting from a kid that has never acted before, and to do it in one shot for each episode, was amazing. There are some clips around about how they filmed it, even at the school scenes they used their own pupils 1 1

Popular Post Will27 Posted March 27 Popular Post Posted March 27 The final season of Bosch Legacy is dropping. Edit* Looks like the episodes are being staggered. First 4 are out now. 1 1 2
proton Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Just saw A Working Man at Major, one of the worst films I have ever seen, left before the end, torture watching it. Mumbling dialogue, confusing plot with unlikable characters, even the fight scenes were third rate. Would have been better going to see Snow Brown!

Thanks Will27--- I see talking about him in the opening minute they have put him down as a Vet from Afghanistan--when he was a tunnel rat in Vietnam, but I guess that would now make him close to an 80 year old guy---so the change in his past history. I sorry that I read all the books now...... If anyone wants them -DM me they are in MOBI but easy changed with Calibre 1
xylophone Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Going back through a few old movies I have seen in the past, I decided to watch, "Open Range" again, starring Kevin Costner, Robert Duvall and Annette Bening and I thoroughly enjoyed it, and if anybody really wanted to see a good old-fashioned "shootout" then the one in this movie at the end, was outstanding and I had forgotten how good it was. Highly recommended! 1 1
GinBoy2 Posted March 28 Posted March 28 I have to say I just watched the reboot of Twisters. Loved the original and this, while I was skeptical because I always worry about reboots because they often disappoint..Ghostbusters anyone? This was great Fun watch https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12584954/

Mutt Daeng Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Last night I finished season 1 of A Thousand Blows and enjoyed it. It was first brought to my attention by @sharot724. It's on 1337x, TheRARBG, TPB etc
Popular Post gargamon Posted March 28 Popular Post Posted March 28 New series, starts tomorrow. 10 episodes, weekly. Power is up for grabs as the Harrigans and Stevensons, two warring London crime families, clash in a kill-or-be-killed battle that threatens to topple empires and ruin lives. Caught in the crossfire is Harry Da Souza, the street-smart 'fixer' as dangerous as he is handsome, who knows too well where loyalties lie when opposing forces collide. As kingdom goes up against kingdom, lines will be crossed - and the only saving grace is a bet-your-life guarantee: family above everything. 1 2 4
petermik Posted March 29 Posted March 29 The one that got away from the Beeb (UK slang meaning BBC) is available in the Bay.....

Or there's one from 2024 that has this caption: "A woman devoid of love encounters her first love. Will she stay faithful or yield to desire?" I'd avoid that like the plague.

I agree Alan Richter can't act but they managed to mangle all the other elements of the show as well. The series has been a big disappointment. 1
