You are just baiting and not really making any sense. It's sad, because that IS an underlying cause of polarisation. Us and them, when really they are you.

I am not.

I think the main reasons are social media where people only get access to news that aligns with their existing beliefs. Dems believe all the nonsense they hear on CNN and Reps believe all the nonsense they hear on Fox.  Also voters identify strongly with their party's policies when in fact they might have other thoughts on them, esp immigration, LGBT, guns, climate change.

You've changed your tune somewhat.

You were just insisting that polarisation came from "sore losers"...which is obviously nonsense.

Whereas now it's the fault of social media and CNN/FOX and your comments are more balanced.

It's all just different pigs at the same trough getting richer and richer whilst the rest just scrabble for the scraps....and pathetically idolising the people who are raping them.

TBH, I misread the thing I quoted.

No. The polarisation is caused by extreme ideologies. The majority of folks are in the middle and just get on with living. The political extremes yell at each other on social media and that is what is reported.

Can you give an example of one extreme ideology?

I don't take any notice of them. Do you?

The OP stated 'a polarised world' to which I added my opinion as to part of the cause. One only has to look back to COVID as an example to see how the media divided people.

Either you took the vaccine or you were a Granny killing Nazi.

In your mind. I was more concerned about the rules being imposed on me. Social Media and "MSM'' had no effect on me whatsoever.

I didn't accept any vaccine.

That backfired pretty quickly didn't it? Positive responses to my post and none to yours.

It's just you looking for an argument....in your head.

What I wrote makes perfect sense and has nothing to do with politics or taking sides. You, in your mind, decided to practice polarisation.

It takes place in our minds.

Where did the "Vote Biden 2024" come from? Your mind. It didn't occur to me at all. You want to blame MSM for your thinking?

How does “brainwashing” work?

Fascism is never the solution. Did you miss HISTORY class?

I do remember my history.  And labeling anyone who doesn't agree with you a "fascist" doesn't work any better than looking for commies under every rock did back in the McCarthy era.

Quick question...  What was Germany's GDP growth in 2024?  Can you see where there may be calls for a change?

The VP elect and the person selected by the president elect to lead one of his top priorities should refrain from these type of comments.
