Only lunatics do not believe this was not covered up on a grand scale by Labour

You mean 'criminals not admitting', not 'lunatics do not believe', surely?

This the guy who was expelled from the Labour Party after it was revealed he has been sending explicit messages to a 17 year old girl.

So does that mean there was no cover up by Labour?

BTW, someone is starting a gofundme to obtain the full court records. Court records are archived by private companies who charge something like GBP 7.50/page. We need to expose the actions of these people, and I don't just mean the perpetrators. From what excerpts of transcripts I have seen, this was not in any way something that was consensual. The men doing this were ANIMALS.

For some reason the Home Office has not chosen to make sentencing video available as they did with the people they labelled the  "far Right".

So this horrific problem was brought to the attention of the public by Tommy Robinson in 2009, to the attention of parliament in 2010.......and now, after 14 years in power, the Tories, who did nothing, are suddenly stressed there was no proper investigation?

Odd?

lots of  crime by ethnic minorities particularly committed by muslims in the UK has long been supressed.

Remember the three louts from Pakistan origin who beat up a young policwoman and broke her nose in an airport brawl have never been charged.

Nigel Fararge has threatened to make a private prosecution on behalf of Reform.

It took an extraordinary amount of time for these charges to be made. Why?

Yes around 5 months. I believe it was because 'reform' were going to issue a private prosecution against the 2 muslim thugs!

It put pressure on the CPS?

"You believe".....so it could have been no more than a political ploy by Farage, in the almost certain knowledge they would be prosecuted, to give the impression he was active in forcing the issue.

I also believe the CPS makes its own decisions based on the law, not on what Farage might be mouthing off about at any particular time.

No one is blameless on this, only the poor victims

A former detective who uncovered police failings in investigating grooming gangs has said Sir Keir Starmer is “perhaps as guilty as anyone” over the failure to bring about change.

Whistleblower Maggie Oliver, who resigned from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) in 2012, on Friday criticised previous inquiries into the scandal and called for an independent investigation and “criminal accountability” for public officials and police who “turned a blind eye”.

It came after Elon Musk claimed the prime minister failed to bring “rape gangs” to justice when he was director of public prosecutions (DPP) between 2008 and 2013.

Interesting take from the article.....

Whistleblower Sara Rowbotham, co-ordinator of the Crisis Intervention Team set up to support young people in Rochdale, expressed frustration at Mr Musk’s posts about the scandal on X, which he owns.

She told The Guardian: “What is (Musk’s) motivation for interfering? It seems very political.

“The person he is trying to go after is Keir Starmer – it is a political swipe that is nothing to do with the women and girls who have been abused time after time.”

Opportunistic self serving person. If he was that concerned, he should have done something when he was in the position to say something. Now he wants to  rehabilitate his image. Too late diddy.

Ostensibly they do, but they don't normally drag their heels for five months. There is nothing in this case that justifies that time period. Alternatively, it is possible that the case was not forwarded to the CPS in a timely manner and they could have acted in a timely manner once they received it. They/whoever was directing them clearly wanted to delay this so it blew over.

No doubt the police  bungled. The crown prosecutor can only act when there is proper evidence and the police service did not  provide a compelling case.

Like I said, nobody is blameless

Police force ignored Rotherham child sex abuse scandal for fear of sparking ‘racial tensions’, report finds

A police force turned a blind eye to child grooming for fear of sparking “racial tensions”, the police watchdog heard.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) found a chief inspector told a missing child’s father that Rotherham “would erupt” if it knew that multiple Asian gangs were sexually abusing children.
A complaint by the child’s father, upheld after a five-year investigation, heard the officer described the abuse as “P*** shagging” and added: “with it being Asians, we can’t afford for this to be coming out.”

If that were genuinely the case "they" were staggeringly naive.

Never said it was......I just pointed out it was an interesting take from the lady at the forefront of all this.
