The thing is, all this nonsense about Trump being a "convicted felon" only really matters to people who hate Trump.  They say it, then other people who also hate Trump say "Yeah, that's right!".  Meanwhile, anyone with half a brain knows that the action was politically motivated and Biden could have been up on multiple charges if those in power had wanted to charge him.

Convicted felon or not, Trump is the only candidate so far that can help the US.

And from what I know, having done Income Tax Returns in my country for so many years, just about everybody will cheat if they are able to do so. And many many people are able to do so.

So there is only a distinction of magnitude regarding offenses. Trump, a lucky one, was able to cheat more than the average person who could cheat only a little bit. And got caught because of the attention that he got, that the average person does not get.

Perhaps you are still a virgin, and have yet to have an opportunity to cheat. Perhaps.

But target all the cheaters if it is your intention to target cheaters. And then explain how you are not part of the general population who would cheat a tad bit, just to add to your savings. Because not too many virgins out there who would want to pay a little bit more rather than a little bit less.

 

A conviction of Trump, only gives a qualifier to the cheat.... As most cheats go unnoticed, and non-convicted.

Get over it.

Do you have a reputable source you used to inform your opinion?

I would appreciate reading your source.  Everything I have read from NY state practices and procedures runs counter to your statement.

 

The other factor that lends weight to the accuracy of Trump being convicted is that he has not sued ANY of the many news outlets that repeatedly describe him as being convicted.  Do you perhaps think he has abandoned his litigious demeanor?

Assume this: I'm not a Trump supporter, necessarily, but I abhor the alternative.  

 

I believe in free speech.  I 'm not in favor of totalitarian dictatorships.  And I happen to believe that the US Constitution is a good document, particularly the Bill of Rights.  The people who drafted it knew what they were doing.

 

So, if the alternative to the authoritarian nut jobs is Trump, then so be it.

Of course convicted felons are banned from travelling to most countries.

It's fair to assume that will be magically ignored as long as he is president.

Trump will be able to vote in Florida (or NY).  The Florida statute says that for out of state felony convictions, the citizen may vote if the state where the conviction occurred would allow the citizen to vote.  The NY statue regarding felony voters states that as long as the felon is not incarcerated, they are allowed to vote.  Ergo --> NY allows Trump to vote so Florida affords him the same privilege.
