Toxic air: Thailand considers work from home nationwide
Authorities are helpless and passive. They could easily do something to to prevent a lot of the fire ignition. But they seemingly don't care. -

Undercover International police
No, it's not the CIA, it's the FBI. And while I detest giving this troll the time of day I'll show you an example where a former member of this forum was attested for distributing child pornography. Let me add, another forum member now long gone did an exceptional job or notifying Thai authorities about this guys content on flickr and YouTube. While not illegal, it crossed a line into harassment and stalking. Also note, the FBI/HSI notified the Thai authorities and the Brits. On the day Blanford was arrested the FBI and British police were present, as alluded to in the article. "Representatives from British and American authorities were also present during the arrest, Worachit said." I knew a psychiatrist that worked for the US Consulate in Chiang Mai. Part of her job was to assess the ongoing impact on the children and families of victims of American offenders. Over the years I have written continually that the FBI and US Congress created the gold standard for dealing with international child sex abuse - a standard that other Western countries including the UK adopted. Re Pattaya in particular, around 15 years ago the FBI and other authorities swarmed the place in conjunction with Thai authorities. Around 10 years ago they wiped out a highly connected abuse ring involving foreigners and high ranking Thais in Chiang Mai. I'm not going into details on either incident. The last time I got involved in this issue on TV it became easily the worst, most toxic thread I have ever seen. Anyway, the answer is yes - Western law enforcement have a permanent presence in Thailand, to combat CSA, drug rings and human trafficking. https://www.khaosodenglish.com/news/crimecourtscalamity/2016/01/07/1452154158/ -

coming to thailand in february for 6 months
Without visa you need a return ticket or a ticket out of Thailand, both within your allowed 60-days visa exempt stay. The airline might check your return- or onward flight upon check-in, if you don't have a ticket, you risk being denied boarding.
