Applying for a SETV eVisa
Yeah I'd amended my post to say it doesn't specifically say onward flight. In regards to your worry about not finishing the SETV application, I received a SETV last March but didn't use it as I went for a non-imm O instead. I actually entered Thailand during the SETV validity period without showing it and no-one cared, so I doubt anyone cares about an incomplete application. -

Nazism is back
One advantage of being the world's richest man with a net worth over U.S. $400 billion is that you don't have to care what other people think of you. https://www.forbes.com.au/news/billionaires/top-10-richest-people-in-the-world-january-2024/ -

Thai Tax Laws for Expats: the Practical Implications versus the Realities
I do understand people who are skeptical that this remittance based tax will actually be enforced meaning people that technically do need to file and/or pay some tax can safely just ignore it. This is Thailand after all! Wasn't it widely broadcast that "recreational" cannabis would be criminalized again by now? You never know until you know. On the other hand we're hearing more that global non remittance based taxation is coming down the pike here. We need to be a patient and see what happens. -

Russian Father Throws Son from Speedboat Near Surin Islands, Leading to Fatality
1st Question: Was there a domestic quarrel with the boy's mother? 2nd Question: Was there a custody dispute? 3rd Question: Did the child have a behavioural issue or illness requiring care etc.? 4th Question: Does the father suffer from mental illness? Looks more like a family dispute, resulting in murder/suicide, where the suicide fails. The instinct to survive can prevent a successful suicide. This scenario is unfortunately not uncommon.
