100 percent of "disaster response?" Wonder how that breaks down. And for the next 6 months? Can Biden direct the federal response to continue as he wants after he is out of office?
Yes. Of course we would very much want an official announcement from them in this case about how they will handle remittances of U.S. retirement account funds.
But consider that it's entirely possible that we will NEVER get that!
The Integrity Legal guy repeatedly alludes to that -- that they or any taxing authority for that matter is not in the business of helping potential taxpayers avoid tax.
So again on the U.S. retirement account issue, how would you weigh the credibility of an opinion and a very clear one at that from expattaxthailand which is for sticklers a Thai owned concern vs. the opinions of random people on an internet forum?
The answer is obvious that the former carries more weight, yes?
Now going forward perhaps we will get confirming or refuting reports from American expats asking about this, even being audited about this, at various revenue offices.
Those would carry weight too.
But we have no such reports at this point.
All we can do at this point is the best that we can.
