How long before I need to leave country?
Zero days after. The non O stamp expiry date is the last day you can exit to avoid overstay. -

Thoen/Mae Wa district - lap pools ?
I'm planning a trip to the Thoen/Mae Wa district (midway between Lampang and Tak) in April - May. Looks like there are few if any AirBNB/hotel or resort places with anything like a lap pool. Anyone know of a 25 metre + farang-accessible pool thereabouts? Maybe a public pool or a school that allows access or maybe there's some accommodation place that i missed that has suitable pool ... All i can see is the water park, which looks like fun but i'm too old for dodging inflatable dolphins ... -

Thai tax tangle: Expats warned of new rules on overseas income
Did you forget what you typed? Let me remind you: So who are these people who are going to tell me that income specified as being under exclusive taxing rights was not assessable income? its not what you typed. No one on this forum other than you seems to be arguing that. I pointed out an RD official noted exempt income is not included in assessable. When you claimed DTAs don't mention exempt income I pointed out RD-18 stated such was exempt. Anyway - when you FINALLY get around to putting your non-assesable UK income (where you claim it is not taxable in Thailand due to DTA) on a Thai tax form for year 2024 tax year, let us know where it was exempted in the tax form. I suspect you have many curious. -

British woman jailed after collecting debt from Thai millionaire
I don't know about you, but a 30,000 pound debt is not something I would just write off. -

Foreign motorcyclist leaves 4,000 baht for injured Phuket man, then flees
“Thai laws seem to apply only to Thai people. Migrant workers and foreigners face no consequences for their wrongdoing, and Thai citizens are treated as second-class citizens. ------------------------------------------------------ If aliens have any legal immunity(in case of criminal cases), WHY so many foreign nationals are at BKK Hilton? The most absurd post I have ever known since my settlement here. Just a matter of Ignorance? Or Intended to cause mass hysteria/rage among Thai net users? Expecting to trigger instant violent reaction in case where foreigners caused some trouble with own people? "If the laws won't get them, we will..." like. I don't deny vigilante justice in emergency. But encouragement of needless/senseless use of force for the petite issue is too dangerous to anyone. -
