ORNL Partnership With EPB Tests New Method For Protecting Quantum Networks

Oak Ridge National Lab on Monday announced the results of the work they completed on EPB Quantum Network.
ORNL successfully demonstrated the capabilities of one of their quantum technologies during test runs between EPB and UTC’s quantum node.
This was particularly important because it was the first time ORNL demonstrated their technology on a commercial quantum network.
Achievements like this lay the foundation for commercializing quantum technologies, said officials.
