Thai police should be equipped with tasers to handle situations like this

One zap  and it’s all over

That means upgrading their equipment !

Considering they are still wearing the same kind of uniforms since the 1960s / 70s . Unfortunately for the police officers today they will probably be stuck with sub standard & out dated equipment for many years to come ! But I totally agree with what your saying mate !

Further investigations revealed Marina R. was scheduled to return to Russia on January 27, 2025

I think that stay will be getting extended without a visa

As fun as it is to bash the Russkies, there's always the possibility that someone slipped her something she didn't deliberately consume.

Ah magic. Two headline posts....a Russian nutcase and  Nigerian coke  husband.

I just love quality tourists. Bring on more!!!

Stricter visa rules are required, especially for nationals of some countries like China, Korea, Ukraine, Russia, Nigeria, Lithuania, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Romania, Poland and some others. They should obtain a proper entry visa in their country of citizenship with all required paperwork and police criminal background checks, mental health checks prior to their travel to Thailand. Visa Free should be stopped!

Super job by the Police!

yes, don't know why they don't do this more often with the miscreants.

I've seen Thai police talk other Thai people down who were wielding knives or machetes and threatening to kill people and do it without any violence at all.
