Kalasin police probe mysterious death of man found burned
Photo courtesy of KhaoSod By Puntid Tantivangphaisal The Police Colonel of Kalasin province is leading an investigative team to unravel the passing of a 73 year old man who was found burned to death in his hut. The investigation, based on collected evidence, aims to deliver fairness to all parties involved. Currently, all suspects are presumed innocent. On February 4, at the Khong Chai District Police Station in Kalasin province, Police Colonel Sirasan Yueansanguanchai, the acting chief of Kalasin Provincial Police, along with Deputy Chiefs Pol. Col. Sompong Munmai and Pol. Col. Khajornrit Wongrach, as well as Pol. Col. Korraphop Naetthaisong, Khong Chai district police chief, and Pol. Col. Noppawit Dittathanathonsiri, chief of the Provincial Investigation Division, gathered with the investigation team to discuss the progress of the case. The incident, a hut fire in Village 6, Non Sila Loeng subdistrict, Khong Chai district, resulted in the death of Boonliang, who was found with wire bound around his right hand and a sharp knife placed next to his body. Police Colonel Sirasan disclosed that the incident occurred at 10pm on January 31. Following the event, investigators collected evidence which was sent for forensic analysis, and the body was transferred to Srinagarind Hospital in Khon Kaen for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Investigators have already interviewed over ten people, including relatives and the deceased’s youngest daughter, who was the last person with him, as well as others connected to the case. It was noted that the dead man regularly consumed alcohol and lived alone in the hut. He had no history of conflicts with others. Currently, the cause of the fire and death remains undetermined, with possibilities ranging from accidental electric short circuit, suicide, or murder, reported KhaoSod. The conclusion will depend on further investigation and forensic results. All individuals involved are currently considered innocent, as there is no evidence or motive to suggest murder at this stage. The Police Colonel emphasised the importance of not wrongfully accusing innocent individuals, stating that it is a grave responsibility for the police. He requested time for a thorough investigation, promising that the case will be handled based on evidence and with fairness to all parties. The aim is to bring clarity to the deceased’s relatives and society. Source: The Thaiger -- 2025-02-05 -

Youtubers in Thailand.
Comrade Mickey Stotch .. is the only one I watch, and not when he's in Bangkok, just doing food. When he's O&A in different places, like now, doing camping up North. Actually motivated me to pop up after rainy season starts; Chiang Rai, Fang, Golden Triangle. Haven't been above CR since 2009. Worse, it's always been smog season, so missed quite a quite. That will probably be my last trip up North, which I thought I had already done 🙄 -

Are high end smartphones worth the money (to you)?
Not necessarily, especially recently with all the razor stubble. What's that all about?
