Popular Post riverhigh Posted 4 hours ago Popular Post Posted 4 hours ago Evangii the Russian tourist filming at 4:30 am. Oh what could go wrong, oh what could go wrong? Harmless livestreaming video? Really? How are people suppose to know? About two years ago I was talking to a friend on the steps opposite Mike shopping mall where coconut tree girls frequented. This jackass Australian came up with a full-frame camera lens and sarted sticking the camera in our faces while grinning and laughing. For him it was a big joke, he thounght like the Russian tourist he can do what he liked as it was a public area. It was his right to take photos without consent as my friend and I were in a public place. No assumption of privacy. Sorry I have very little sympathy for people like the Russian and Australian who get beat up. They know they what they are doing can get people upset .... 1 1 1 1 1
1happykamper Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Consent? There is no such law in Thailand! Unless it's to defame the person publicly.

Well, sad to say the jackass Aussie might just be right. If you want privacy, you have to create it for yourself. I am not a big fan of it either, but it is simple reality these days. We live in an Insta and streaming world, like it or not.

It really is a biased country that lacks any common sense in my book.
shackleton Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago The Thai police seem more interested in protecting the image of Pattaya as a world renowned Tourist beach resort 😱 Than doing their jobs arresting people doing no good 1
Woke to Sounds of Horking Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Another wannabe Tik Tok star.... MInd you, imagine the revenue! There seems to be no limit to the $$ for livestream / YT / TT channels. Get out there, strap on a GoPro and go for it!
PomPolo Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago 1 hour ago, wensiensheng said: What about all the videos from locals filming tourists in compromising positions without their consent and which then go viral and outrage netizens? THAT seems to be allowed since it happens frequently. Very true, and a recent incident with the Swiss man and his misses having a barney in their truck recorded by someone sparking an incorrect rumour of a firearm being involved which was only proved wrong after the person who recorded it stuck it all over the internet.

However, there is no reason for over the top behaviour by immature clowns, who don't know how to communicate in a rational manner. A Thai communicating with a Russian? In what language? 1

Now go home and comeback tomorrow night to find another victim.

Frankie baby Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Whether right or wrong, she got off very lightly. He could have booked himself about 4 days in the hospital and come out with a certificate claiming he will never walk proper again, not to mention the stress and emotional impact that will be with him for the rest of his life, hence his over the top compensation claim. Well that's what a good Thai netizen would have done.

Agreed, and their so called 'content' has already been done a thousand times over: eating breakfast, getting a visa, walking on beach road or soi 6, recounting fabricated stories, looking for a condo...... Its mind-numbing. What's more, they think its a real job and will fund their stay in the land of smiles. Pathetic. 1

natway09 Posted 6 minutes ago Posted 6 minutes ago Methinks there are far too many "bloggers" wandering around invading folks privacy with a camera in their hand thinking they can film whenever, whoever they please. Many of them deserve a punch on the snout
