The issue caught the attention of the Government Accountability Office in 2021 when it issued a report. In its findings, the GAO reported that as many as 70 U.S. citizens had been deported over the previous 5 years.

Man who claims he's a U.S. citizen repeatedly has been deported to Mexico. It's complicated

All US citizens have a 9 digit social security number, which they need for almost everything in the US, like getting a drivers license, a bank account, a job, a passport etc. All they have to do is run the number!

Which of course all people liable for targeting as "illegal" have any one of which hung prominently in view for reference for ICE Gestapo types regardless of actual legal status due to non conformist ethnic appearances.

However if not then suffer the experience of being summarily incarcerated and transported to an evacuation center while protestations are ignored in the cacophony of similar  non legitimate objections .

Trump has embarked on a direction not  dissimilar to that of an infamous French Queen who due to self indulgent ignorance dismissed reality to the point her head fell off !

Proving you are US citizen is very simple!

That's not necessarily the case. As the article below points out:

Quote

When you're locked up, it's hard to dig up a birth certificate or a passport or, in Garza's case, request a naturalization certificate from immigration.

You Say You're An American, But What If You Had To Prove It Or Be Deported?

https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2016/12/22/504031635/you-say-you-re-an-american-but-what-if-you-had-to-prove-it-or-be-deported

Don't forget that in deportation hearings, it's up to the accused illegal immigrant to prove they're a US citizen (if that's what they're claiming) and if they can't do so, they're subject to deportation.

In these hearings you're basically presumed guilty and have to prove your innocence.

Maybe Thailand should take a page from 47's book and not only crack down hard on illegals and on those who abuse the system by using agents to pretend the illegal meets the requirements to stay in country, but also raise the bar so that fewer lowlifes settle in Thailand under retirement or marriage visas.

Anyone who settles in Thailand, and is going to add value to the Kingdom, should certainly have much more money that a measly 800,000 baht or whatever the requirements are.  Raising the standard to, say, 10-20,000,000 baht would draw a better class of individual, as well as provide a larger economic punch to the country.

Anyone raised in the West, and of retirement age, who doesn't have that sort of money saved is kind of a failure and certainly Thailand doesn't need to pollute its culture with lowlifes. It would also seem that such individuals---most likely to be MAGAs---would be happier back home, closer to their love muffin in the White House, or else back home in other Western nations where they could go to work fixing the problems they constantly whine about in their native lands.

I am wondering who has costed this operation, and whether they have factored in the compensation coming to those who are deported illegally.

I guess it will stop when farmers leave their crops rotting in and on the ground, and start marching on Washington.

Coming to a supermarket near you - higher food prices.

Costed?

Surely the Mexicans will pay?

The temporary migrant worker visa has minimum wage requirements and working conditions imposed by the Department of Labor.

Farmers want the cheapest labor possible, so they can make a profit or even survive as a going concern. Illegals enable that.

Farmers will either push up prices to keep going, or quit. Either way, the product on a supermarket shelf gets more expensive.

I have no issue with the US deporting bad guys, but it seems to me America is shooting itself in the foot if it exports illegals who just want to work, and send money back home.

Spot on,just wait till food prices triple or quadruple and the felons gaslighting with his drill baby drill nonsense doesn’t bear fruit.its going to be comical to listen to this segment of delusional fools try to blame anyone other than the NY city trust fund baby…….not even mentioning his tariffs (tax) fiasco coming to each and every consumer soon ……oh and btw applying for asylum is lawful in the United States.

"Zero tolerance"....lol....Rules For Thee, Not For Me.

To wit:

Donald Trump America’s deplorable 45th & 47th POTUS a convicted felon (34 counts), adjudicated rapist, convicted of defamation, repeatedly convicted business fraudster, state and federal quadruply indicted (91 counts) of some of the most serious crimes in a Constitutional Republic, Vietnam War repeatedly criminally fraudulently draft-dodger, infamously unprecedented dishonest Republican, Christian supported (adulterer with all three wives) who referred to WW1 American Veterans that gave their life for their country as “losers & suckers” according to one of four of his Chiefs-of-Staff General Kelly.

As some may recall and the record shows Melania Knauss (later the 3rd wife of the Christian claiming adulterer (with all his wives) was challenged in 2016 to disclose her US Green Card and US Citizenship applications but she categorically refused to comply.

This is from the woman who enthusiastically participated in the "Obama birther conspiracy" demanding to see his documents.

Misrepresenting the truth on these forms is a federal crime (perjury) and can (does) result in deportation and barred from re-entry for several years (5 or more).

At issue is Melania's proven employment in 1996 in NYC. That is not in dispute. She was in the USA at that time on a Tourist Visa. Employment in the USA is not allowed on a Tourist Visa.

I believe the evidence will eventually prove she is America’s only illegal alien to serve as FLOTUS.

To this day Russia prevents reputable scholars from accessing WW2 archives. Just this week the US government classified files on the JFK, RFK, and MLK files were finally released, we are told. It can take a long time for the historical record to be set straight on the truth of the matter.

Ask yourselves, if she has nothing to hide why does she not put this speculation to rest? Especially given her behavior supporting the “birther conspiracy” with her husband as the main protagonist.

Zero tolerance my arse.

Seems like you have a slight obsession with the present POTUS to come up with all that. :passifier:

Do you have any thoughts on the previous draft dodging incumbent of the W H telling lies and giving his son a pardon when he said he wouldn't? I won't hold my breath waiting for a reply. :whistling:

Meanwhile in the real world, Trump is POTUS and laying waste to everything the woke hold dear. :clap2:

Enjoy the next 4 years- 😪

By Walking down the Streets: How can the "arresting forces" know witch hispanic is here illegally versus a legal hispanic?

He's got 4 years to do it in, and hopefully many will self deport. If they can walk from the Darien to the border and climb over the wall, they can do it in the opposite direction through the gate ( don't have to climb back over the wall ).

Bye bye illegals, don't come back.

You are naive.

Such citizen deportations have happened before but with a historic mass deportation of many millions as Trump promises, they will happen a lot more.

As they will tend to not be maga white people, don't expect the maga movement to care about that.

Strange comment. Illegal aliens, in any country, rightly face deportation unless exceptional circumstances apply.

Looks like Mexico is only taking back Mexican citizens, those military aircrafts will be Globetrotting dropping all them illegals on their home turf......

How many of those New York City newcomers are picking strawberries in the city?  While costing taxpayers (according to Dem mayor Adams) $36,000 per head every year...

There is no requirement to deliver anybody to their country of origin. To successfully deport an illegal alien you just need a spot that takes them anywhere in the world. They can volunteer where they are from if they don't like the choice provided.

So in that respect the world is their oyster.

And which country will do that? I see Mexico just refused a plane load.

That is true about the number of strawberry pickers in NY, what will hit the USA consumer is the people not turning up for work on the farms, this will push up the price of food which you pay for, so will you be happy?

I agree that immigration needs to be sorted, illegals sorted as well.

A more structured way would be better, maybe guarantee work for the farms, get them documented? Already it is having and affect.

Fear of deportation has led to a sharp drop in farm worker attendance across California's agricultural heartland, leaving crops unharvested following U.S. President Donald Trump's immigration crackdown, local news outlets have reported.

The immediate impact is evident in Kern County, one of the nation's most productive agricultural regions. Over the last two weeks, growers have seen sharp declines in their workforce attendance, which they attribute to heightened immigration crackdowns.

Citrus grower and former Kern County Farm Bureau president, Peter Belluomini, reported that his usual harvest crew dropped from 30 workers to just five, saying many were "hiding at home" out of fear.

If Trump is able to implement a work requirement for the able bodied to qualify for welfare, maybe they'll have Americans picking those oranges and strawberries.  Win-win.

About the only bit of compassion I can scrape up is for the people that Harris/Biden convinced to waste $10,000 of their money to pay the cartels to enter the US illegally.  To most of them, that's a lot of money.

The Dems should offer those people a refund.  Maybe from their campaign funds.

How about all the criminality that took place during Bidens call to purge the Border , Deaths, Murders, human trafficking, Fentanyl distribution.

Doesnt that count for anything?

Billions & billions of dollars will be saved.

You, in spite of your obvious deluded sense and irrational consensus should be focused on President Trumps America First promise to deport DANGEROUS illegal aliens and not someone who may or may not have worked prior to receiving they work permit some 30 years ago. But, maybe send a request to President Trump to deport Melania if it makes you feel better, soothing your butt-hurt maybe allowing you to come to your senses and forget all your rage and hatred. And, or, maybe just cope with your liberal loss and enjoy the MAGA Trump ride the next 48 months or so.

Consensus,Must be from that Msnbc noise they/ thems listen too .

MASA sounds like common sense!
