Thank you

very expensive ! no public hospital for this ?

Government eye hospital in Nakhon Phathom

They also have a small branch in Bangkok (no website) but I do not know if they could do  such an extensive procedure there. The  main hospital in Nakon Pathom probably better option. Bring a Thai speaker with you.

Are you sure you need this procedure? Which ophthalmologist advised it and for what condition?

Hello,

Do you know the price for a vitrectomy: how does it work? General anesthesia, outpatient surgery ?

thank you

Probably you've been informed about the risks and your opthalmologist recommended this kind of procedure as ultimate ratio?

Some hospitals will do it as outpatient, many for inpatient because of complications.

Full recovery could be more than a month.

Good luck.
