I seem to recall reading something about Mexico and Canada each sending 10,000 troops to defend the borders?  And that the tariffs are only suspended for 30 days, pending results.

Right wing spin. Mexico committed to 10k troops at the border. Not new troops. They already have 13k there.

Which would bring us to that 2nd part.  It's only a 30 day reprieve, pending results.  If they're still assisting the migrant caravans, we'll be right back at tariffs.  They have 30 days to clean up their act.

10,000 Mexican troops on the border is not the good thing some people think it is. In 1990s, the Zetas came from "elite" Mexican army commandos and went on to become the country's most powerful drug cartel. Today, the army itself is directly integrated into cartel activity.
