I'm sure everyone knows what the definition of milk is as expats.............Yes, almond, soy, and oat drinks can be called "milk", but they are not the same as cow's milk. The FDA allows these drinks to use the term "milk" in their names, but they should clearly indicate their nutritional differences from cow's milk.

Before, I used half and half, but I don't see it here in Thailand.  I guess you could make it but that seemed a bit anal to me, so I just use whole milk or drink it black.

I don't drink coffee at all and always drink my tea without milk. I love drinking milk but in my village there are two 7-11s and a Lotus mini mart and none of them sell skimmed or semi skimmed milk, only full cream so I have to reduce  my milk intake to maintain my normal weight for my height.
